UGK’s, “Underground Kingz,” Comes In At Number 1
UGK, the Texas rap duo consisting of Bun B & Pimp C, come in at number 1 on the billboard charts this week. UGK’s seventh album, “Underground Kingz,” sold 156k units giving them the number one album in the country for the first time in their career’s. UGK first came together in 1987, and after 20 years in the game they are still going strong. Number 2 on the charts was Plies with, “The Real Testament,” selling 91k units. Plies has had much success with his single, “Shawty,” featuring T-Pain. Common drops from the number 1 spot to number 7 this week.
The top 2 albums in the country are from southern rap artist, so the South is not going anywhere people.

I saw a little of dude on 106 and he seems to be humble. Humility with a little talent will keep you around for a while in the industry.
As far as UGK, I like Bun B more but Pimp C is funny when hes off that white girl (which is probably during every interview) lol. They may have done more #’s if he didnt slander ATL.

Big Major Congrats on that shit. UGK definitely deserves that.
But its sad that, them selling 160K their first week is a big deal. That just shows the current state of the music industry.
