yo dubs i hear what u saying about kanye not being the most conscious rapper out. but thats what i like about him, because if u look at it, people like common, the roots, talib kweli,mos def, and other conscious rappers but they wont cop they albums. then people like the arrogant flossing i’m the shit rappers, but feel like they so arrogant u wont cop they album either.
i fuck wit him cuz he on both sides of the field, he raps conscious, he raps arrogant, he makes banging beats for the hard core rappers, the consious rappers, the arrogant rappers. he helps the whole hip-hop community. if it wasnt for him alot of rappers wouldnt have sold alot of records cuz he makes the beat and/or raps on their first single making it a banga. what part of hip-hop says wear the same shit for the last 5 years. 50 got money but he dress like me, no flash no guap, i dress like a regular dude all day long. but hip hop is about stayin fresh, fresher than the rest. 2 steps ahead of the game, since the 80’s hip hop stepped outside its own box to be fresh, why should it stop now?
