I agree that his generalizations are a bit over done…but i can bet 90% of the girls that are all “oh hell no, im no nobody’s slave!” are black…it may be a stereotype or w/e, but whether or not we would like to admit it or not…stereotypes tend to have some truth in them, whether it be a little or a lot.
Also, i think that many women in general have skewed view of what submissive means, and automatically think that to submit to you’re man, or serve you’re man means that u have to wipe his ass for him and say how high when he says jump.
I think submission is more of a trust and love where you’re actions are for the purpose of making you’re man happy, rather than for the purpose of training him, or getting him to make YOU happy. That’s the difference. Submissive women take pleasure in putting a smile on their man’s face, and see it as them doing a good job as a woman or wife. While a non-submissive woman thinks their man should be doing that for them.
I personally feel that the best relationships exist when both the man and woman are submissive to each other and put aside their personal desires for the purpose of making they’re significant other happy. That is TRUE love. When you are willing to sacrifice you’re pride and arrogance to make someone happy other than yourself.
Also, as for the “DOG” argument…dogs arent slaves…everyone loves dogs…and dogs are the best companions…if you take care of them they will be loyal to you because they respect you…if you come home late a dog doesn’t ask you questions and assume you are lying to them, all a dog wants when you come home is for you to pet it and let it know you love it…thats all a dog needs for reassurance…if you ask a dog to do something, u dont gotta ask twice or explain…not cuz the dog is afraid of you and stupid, but beacause the dog respects you enough to do as you ask…maybe men and woman have a lot to learn from dogs…
