Strange, I thought music was about self expression, a way to release, relax & let go. If this is the way D.B. feels, he has every right to express that view point. If you don’t agree that’s your business, if you do, that’s still your business.
What you all fail to realize is that people fear things they don’t understand. I’m sure back in Oprah, Jesses’ & Sharptons’ day, their parents hated the genre of music & the lifestyle portrayed of those they listened to. So its only history repeating itself.
If you’re so offended by what D.B. says do something about it! Make a decision to show the world that hip-hop is a culture that will never die and that true hip-hop (not that commercial crap) is a rage against the machine, a way of life and a force to be reckoned with.
