Real Talk With David Banner
The outspoken and often controversial, David Banner, was born and raised in Jackson Mississippi. The rapper/producer has various hits under his belt including singles such as, “Like A Pimp,” “Cadillac On 22’s,” “Play” and has produced tracks including, “Rubber Band Man,” “Tip Drill” & “They Like Me.” David Banner is now preparing to release his fourth album, “The Greatest Story Ever Told.” In Part 1 David Banner talks about his new album, Hip Hop being blamed by the media for everything and the role of rappers in their community.

I feel him cuz a lot of people 4got bout black love/black pride. only a select few speak from the inside on these situations. the others are focused on sellin drugs & gettin money. when u die all that dumb shit stays here. we need 2 take some responsibility and help raise the youth so they can be prepared for this world. but we gonna get that back b4 its 2 late.

this dude is an ass. so he actually thinks tha reason why nas said hip hop was dead was cause nas was not sellin records? my nigga, nas put out a song wit almost no radio play and still moved mo units than jeezy, who actually had mo singles on a radio. nas moved over 3 hund thou his first week. what tha fuck does he have to complain about. he only made that comment cuz hes a conscious individual and hes a fan of this hip hop shit. onlike wack artist like david banner who dont care bout tha art n just want to make money.

First off, since when has David Banner been an “online whack artist”!?!? That nigga been out for a minute, so come correct bruh. Just as Nas had his opinion (which by the way, the “hip hop is dead” statement was more of a reverse physcology move than anything, because him putting out an album shows that it is not dead). But just has Nas and everyone else has an opinion, so does David Banner. Nas sold 300,000 records with little radio play because Nas is an established artist for 10 years now. I wish people on these comments with think and allow the words that they hear to sink in before commenting….

this site is filled with region haters…which is the most ignorant shit on earth… if nas said hip hop is dead good for nas…but some of you need to try to think for yourself when u say what another man says to try to sound smart that really shows how dumb you are.. i’m not a nas fan so i dont know what he meant by that statement nor do i care as far i know turn on any radio station and music channel’s top video’s and their playing hip hop…from all regions not to say i’m a fan of it all because i identify with the artist who capture my lifestyle…but at the same time i don’t turn and hate on others just because it’s not my lane…but he right most niggas raised by bitches and inturn act just like jealous bitches….
