@ MiMi i think 50 is the underdog right now not Kanye. Everyone has written him off becasue of the flopped singles and the BET awards fiasco and stuff like that. He really really needs to get on the promo grind more than Kanye. Kanye is everywhere, MTV loves his videos (5 VMA nominations and no album !!), his singles are on Top 40 radio (Stronger)…50 Cent only got the streets with “I Get Money” and no mainstream love.

I have to say that kanye will beat 50 in all aspects the music in which kanye makes is capturing the mind body and soul of people who initially likes that sound he brings to the table. 50 on the other makes music to sound good but you can tell he thinks its easy like paul wall thats the reason i think kanye is gonna come out on top

Also if you noticed how justin timberlake capture people with his new sound and how shock value was tryin to capture people on the rap side with a new sound and was slept on. Thats why 50 is tryin to go more pop on his album cause he know that they will buy. In which he will not sound good to the general public. But for kanye to do it. Its easy cause hes always has had that different sound. Why people think so many cats go oversees and do concerts or just to get the know the culture. Whuttup Lynn1…Me personally…I think it was sincere as well, because right after YE commented about the fortune Fif made from the vitamin water deal, it sounded like Keyshia was bigging up CiCi for being with him…by calling it a “good look” and what not, for her bagging (or vice versa) such a rich ass dude like Fif.

Also…he made an appearance at her performance in Houston last week. As arrogant as Fif is, he just doesn’t seem like the type to make a suprise guest appearance for ANYONE, unless it was for the G Unit or someone he genuiniely cared about.

…And I honestly can’t remember the last time 50 even made a appearance for one of his G unit members that performed individually (Young Buck, Lloyd Banks), like he did with Ciara. Yet, they make appearances for 50 when he performs…but, it’s never really the other way around. NE ways…I agree with you…I think Keyshia accidentally let the cat out of the bag, when she said what she said about Ci Ci…but, that’s just my take on it.:)

for interscope its a loss whether 50 comes in at #1 or #2 cuz they’ve been promoting “curtis” since late May, put out 2 vids them made millions of copies of the CD. then they had to scrap all those copies they made cuz they knew 50 would flop. u kno how much money they lost from just that? like millions. then they put out 2 more vids and being that JT is on one song thas extra money gone cuz neither of those songs are gettin the push to get ppl excited 4 the album. with all the promotion that 50 has done he’d HAVE TO sell like 2 mil first week to and 5 mil later on to pay back interscope for all the money they’ve lost already. plus jimmy is gonna have to buy the albums as well to make 50 #1 so for interscope its become a lose/lose.

Will someone please explain to me how interscope spent so much on 50, none of the videos he put out were high budget,and straight to the bank was at his house, and the amusement park video cost was probably differed by the pontiac money they got for advertising the cars, and the other video was home made for youtube, so as far a promotion goes interscope really hasn’t spent that much on 50, hes been doing interviews and appearances just like ye has.but if im wrong someone try and correct me.

^^That PONTIAC money is a deal between 50 and Pontiac, NOT Interscope and Pontiac. If that were the case labels would demand artists product placement items in their videos. None of that money went towards the payment of that video, it went all to 50. btw even a “cheap” 50 video is expensive.

This is still the music business, you have to be able to market yourself. It’s the difference between woulda-beens and superstars. That’s why I said, 50 IS THE BAD GUY.
