I’ma huge fan of 50 and Weezy, been a fan of 50’s before wayne, and errthing 50 just said is true, aint nobody would be making mixtapes without him. I’m not saying wayne doesn’t desirve hype cause he do spit some hot shit, but no one can top 50 in the buzz that he had in 2003, and the mixtapes he was dropping, and thats why he acted and delivered his toughts the way that he did that makes people think he’s mad.

Funny thing is 50 is setting this shit up perfect to have his next album sales be higher than this album. Everyone who knows hip hop knows 50 formula is “beef sales records”.
1. Hes not looking at Kanye, hes looking past him. He already knows he is going to sell more than Kanye. (probably 1st week and overall worldwide.)Thats why he only takes jabs at him and not really diss him.
2. He knows wayne album will drop the first quarter of 2008 and because of waynes personality and fan base he has to respond to 50’s disrespectful comments.
3. He proabably already has a wayne diss ready for “Before I Self Destruct” which is set to be released Feb. 2008 but will be pushed back until waynes album drops.

Ok I don’t want to spark an argument, BUT… You telling me the Carter II was not a classic album. From “The Mobb” (the intro) to “Fly Out” (the outro), he straight up murdered that whole entire album. He hit so many topics on that album from, the way that the album was assimilated was near genius. So I feel he could be in the discussion. That album is in any discussion. I almost guarantee monster sales for lil wayne’s Carter III. If his album dropped tomorrow without a video, he will at least go gold if not nearing platinum in the first week. He has saturated the market a bit, but when your demand is up why the hell not? Everything he is on he murders, and like the cat on the debate on mtv said, his imagery is one of a kind!!!

True, but as much as the music can evolve or whatever, it’s till supposed to get better as time goes on. The south should be the shit right now, but they not. They not good. They just hot. Big difference. You don’t have to be good to be hot. And I think everybody is just wanting that 80’s flava back.
