Three things:
1) This is in fact news. Thanks Realtalk for reporting on someone up and coming who we don’t see and/or read about everyday.
2) Ummm Silent One…Esther’s goods are real homie…she’s been like that since high school (I know cause a friend of mine was in the Marines with her ex-husband).
3) It seems for a lot of us these girls can’t do anything right. First we berate and disrespect them for being in these videos, then when one tries to use their celebrity from videos as a stepping stone for bigger and better things we still got a problem with that. Whatever happened to recognizing an individual who wants more for herself and just wishing her good luck.

What does supporting those who go get education first have to do with what I said? I’ll support anyone as long as they aren’t hurting themselves or others but are my credentials any “realer” than Will Smith’s because I have a masters and he doesn’t? My “real credentials” didn’t mean a thing when I was unemployed for almost two years after receiving my degree so I ask you…if the opportunity presents itself why not make money off of what god gave you? I’m sure a lot of these girls are getting their education or learning about the business world as well.
All in all I agree with you about not being a token…but you gotta agree that we could use a little more positivity with each other’s aspirations.

I am a print model cuz I am not tall enough for runwayz (I’m only 5′5″). If a woman cares about her looks and has good genes, you don’t have to worry about fat or stretchmarks, neither of which I have. Madonna, and lots of other women didn’t get fat after having 2 or more kids. It takes a little work but it’s worth it to me. Not drinking alcohol or doing any drugs helps too.

I know this is crazy late but why is it whenever someone doesn’t agree with you they have to be jealous or a hater? The problem isn’t with them, the problem is with you? Here is the voice of a NON-HATING FEMALE: Esther is an undeniably beautiful woman. She doesn’t have to have her clothes off to see that. Nor does she have to have her clothes off for you to see her shape. My problem with her and other “video vixens” isn’t that they are attractive (some of them aren’t attractive, they just have nice bodies, i.e. Buffie the Body… *note* NOT Buffie the FACE). My problem is that they exploit themselves for a little bit of cash. The end doesn’t justify the means, as SOME *coughs, IDIOTS* would have sistahs believe. Do you respect her just as much as you respect a woman who worked hard in a way that DOESN’T exploit and objectify Black women? My problem is that we (Black women) have been torn down and lowered to nothing but sex objects. Did you know that more than 65% of strippers were molested as children?
