That’s why on MTV you see “Hollyhood”-36mafia’s shit, and even college hill had their show on MTV rotation once, also TOP MODEL comes on MTV now. and VH1, you see flavor of love, charm school and all the other shit they bout to display, that aint about nothin. Everyone who watches MTV, does not necessarily watch BET and vice versa. And most people don’t even have both stations…I stayed at a hotel where BET wasn’t an option on the channel listing, so even though VIACOM owns the stations, they don’t all get the same exposure. There is BET (BETJ), MTV (MTV2, MTV3 – spanish), VH1 (CLASSIC, SOUL)…but some don’t get ALL of those channels. That is why it is “important” to VIACOM to have a Baldwin Hills because they fill it appeals to the “black” community. I mean how many black chicks are really watching “The Hills” on MTV?
