    Nah, He’s not a Ne-Yo wannabe, but just like Ne-yo he’s very talented. Johnta Austin has been in the industry for a long time now. A great singer/songwriter who’s finally getting some shine.

    He doesn’t appeal to the masses. Especially cuz he looks too old. He needs to stick to penning songs for people cuz he won’t catch on. There’s way more money in writting anywayz.

    his vocals are nice. he sings on that bow wow track with t-pain. he writes incredible songs- i think he’s better than neyo- the only song of his i really enjoyed was the track for mario- let me love you.
    but sometimes, solo careers for writers/producers aren’t good ideas and don’t pan out. guess there’s no harm in trying.

    i wish him luck.
