Twista Will Preview His New Album, “Adrenaline Rush 2007,” July 11th
Multi-platinum rapper TWISTA and the hip-hop site 247HH.COM have teamed up for an exclusive preview of Twista’s forthcoming new album, “Adrenaline Rush 2007,” on Wednesday, July 11th. In addition to debuting the album — due in stores on September 18th — Twista will give the audience insight on how each song was created by premiering the first installment of the 247HH.COM series, “The Story Behind The Cut.” The inaugural event will also be the first collaboration between NASCAR and a hip-hop artist, as Twista will be driving the RED BULL NASCAR Street Legal Edition Race Car to the event. Twista will close out the evening with a short performance and freestyle.
“Adrenaline Rush 2007″ is Twista’s fifth album for Atlantic Records. Its first single, “Give It Up” Feat. Pharrell Williams, has hit radio and is accompanied by the Hype Williams-directed video. The rest of the album features appearances by Kanye West, R.Kelly, T-Pain, and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, among others. Twista stormed the charts and the national consciousness in 2004 with his breakthrough #1 “Kamikaze” album, which earned RIAA platinum and included the massive, Grammy-nominated singles “Slow Jamz” with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx, and “Overnight Celebrity.” In 2006, Twista and Kanye scored a breakout hit on the “Mission: Impossible III” soundtrack. Having worked with everyone from Mariah Carey to Snoop to Jay-Z to Ludacris, the Windy City’s breeziest tongue knows no borders. To that end — and confirming he’s as much substance as style — Twista recently called out President Bush, condemning him as “bogus” for vetoing a bill to withdraw American troops from Iraq and inspiring Americans to not be afraid to speak out.

Looks like another album I won’t be copping again. And when did slow jamz become twista song, if I remember, Kanye made that song the shit with his lyrics and superb production. Damn Twista, old title but new guest appearances. Whatever happened to putting do or die OR Speedknot Mobastaz on the album?
If yall wiating on a real album this year, make sure yall look out for Beanie Sigel: The Solution, Papoose: The Narceima Dream, Memphis Bleek: The Big Apple (why is everyone hating on bleek, he ain’t Jay but does do his own thing. Niggas hate on bleek because one motherfucker tells you too, but on ALL bleeks albums, he say a melo out track) & the album of the year Lupe Fiasco: The Cool.
Without a doubt Lupe had the album of the year last yr. It was the most versatile album out in a while. He had the right production and he he is the BIG-JAY-NAS-COMMON roled into one. T.I. my boy but Lupe album had the best album. Still waiting on Joe Budden The Growth.

yea Kanye did make me even care about Twista. But Kanye-Graduation, Common-Finding Forever will be best albums of the year hands down.

Yeah I definitely feel you on those 2 albums. But lyrically wise, Lupe has a better delivery than common and better all around content than Kanye. His content is more about what he see or been through. I would honestly have to say that was the last classic album since….. Common-Be…
But like Jae Millz sayed, artist keep putting out more & more bulshit. Its not even rap anymore, its more like who can dum down on music the most and still sell records. Hip-Hop ain’t competetive anymore.Its full of bullshit artist who glamourize about what they got. But like Jay sayed 3 yrs ago, we got more broke rappers than rich ones. Shit Jadakiss is a vet in the game, gotta a tight flow, but he broke. Webbie and fucking Boosie, both suck, but probably got more money than Jada. The game is so fucked up right now!!

man all of ya is trippin hands down twista is the coldest u can hate on kamikaze but that was the watered down radio edition cd. take it back to resurection and runnin off at the mouth, common, kanye, jay-z, lupe, lil wayne, non of them can touch his tracks or his lyrics. just wait when adrenaline rush 2007 hits the stores the game will be shut down again just like when runnin off at the mouth dropped and when adrenaline rush dropped. u two better learn some respect when u talkin about the true greatest rapper to ever walk this earth.
