Lil Flip Arrested
The Houston Chronicle reports:
Platinum rap artist Lil’ Flip was arrested and charged with credit/debit card abuse in Houston Saturday.
The artist, 26, whose real name is Wesley Weston, turned himself in around 2:30 p.m. at Harris County Courthouse 21 and was released on $2,000 bond.
“It has more to do with people around him, and not the man himself. The man is not a criminal; he’s never been in trouble. ” said community activist Quanell X, speaking on behalf of Weston.
Characterizing the incident as a “small, slight situation” the activist promised that the charges “will be worked out.”
Weston, a Houston native, is due in court Monday.

MY BOYFRIEND GOT ARRESTED FOR A DUI, NOT TOO LONG AGO. THE BAIL WAS SET AT THE SAME AMOUNT. YOU ONLY HAVE TO PAY 10% DOWN TO A BONDS MAN, SO WHO EVER RELEASED HIM PROBABLY PAYED $200, WHICH IS POCKET CHANGE.

Salinger, whose relationship, if any, with lil flip is unknown, told authorities he did not authorize the purchase. that’s the fucking truth it came from the (houston chronicle) so fuck you and the rest of the hatin ass pussies
