Damn A Man Owes Over 10k In Child Support & The Kid Is Not His
Francisco Rodriguez owes more than $10,000 in back child support payments in a paternity case involving a 15-year-old girl who, according to DNA results and the girl’s mother, is not his daughter.
He now has DNA results that show the 15-year-old girl wasn’t fathered by him. He even has an affidavit from the girl’s mother — a former girlfriend from 1990 — saying he’s “not the father” and asking that Rodriguez no longer be required to pay child support.
Yet the state of Florida is continuing to push him to pay $305 a month to support the girl, as well as the more than $10,000 already owed. He spent a night in jail because of his delinquent payments.
Damn, that’s got to hurt.

This is a perfect example of the LAW being fucked up; Why would the state of florida still require him to pay child support when he already has evidence supporting his claim that he is not the father & the mother of the child who confirmed. There is no one else to blame in this situation except the law.

YOOOO this is just another example of how the law is not only fucked up but there are so many rules that are sooo out of dat its ridiculous. im sure he has 2 pay child support cuz his ex tricked him into thinking he was the dad so he put his name of the birth certificate. u kno theres a law in sum southern state that states if ur underwear are still hung outside past 6pm, u can go 2 jail?? LOLOL

All these dead beat dads and kids living without fathers is always being highlighted. But this type of shit isn’t. Dudes get raped by the justice system all the time in child support cases. This is exactly the type of shit that needs to be highlighted.

only reason this shit gets to fly is because the child support industry is a BILLION DOLLAR industry. they send you the paperwork for your court date, and if you dont show up to demand your DNA test, you are automatically named the father. sounds like this is what happened to dude. it’s fucked up, as are a lot of the laws of this land. in some states if a man is married to a woman at the time she gives birth, even if it later comes out that the man is not the biological father, he still will have to pay child support because it is in the best interest of the child. nevermind that he may want to have children of his own one day. as a woman, i can definitely say this story is bullshit to the 10th degree, and i hope he gets a good enough lawyer to prove he never received his original paperwork.

I have. It doesn’t happen very often but I know someone who’s son ran away from home and was picked up by social services and put in a group home because he didn’t want to go home. When the boy turned 18, she had to pay the state back for the 3 years he was in a group home EVEN THOUGH she made it clear he was welcome back home. That’s effed up.
This is call red tape and it’s effed up, but will never going away.

as of right now, it is not illegal for a woman to lie about the paternity of her child. so the mother faces no legal consequences. as i stated in my post above, the child support industry is a billion dollar industry. if they dont have these chicken heads out here claiming paternity on every tom, dick, or harry, then they wont be able to get their billions of dollars as easily.

yoo check out the July Maxim issue. Big story on child support. The gov’t would rather a person that is not the father pay child support then for the child to grow up poor or someothing. And they also count DNA tests as irrelevant. Mad fucked up.

What’s really messed up is that rarely are these women who give untrue information are prosecuted for perjury, nor do they have to pay back child support they should have never received. These women are getting away with ruining these men’s lives and also their children. I think there should be some repercussions for these women who can’t seem to either keep it closed for business or at least only have one customer at a time. And YES DNA tests should be mandatory with unmarried couples just to get this mess out the way from jump.

I can understand where the alleged father is coming from. I too live in the state of Florida, and I am in a paternity issue myself. I have two kids from my ex-wife. During the course of our divorce I questioned the paternity of my youngest daughter from my wife. Two years ago I had a paternity test done and it was proven I was not the biological father of my daughter. At the time she was almost nine years old. I did not want any of the almost 30k I paid into child support back, just a credit. My attorney petitioned the court here to give me a credit on my futher payments for my older daughter. In that way it would lower the monthly payment due for my oldest child. That was over a year and a half ago. The case is still not settled. The state of Florida is so quick to take it away. That child will always be my daughter but I should not have to pay for my ex wife’s bad judgement. Oh did I mention she now has four kids from four different dads and I am the only one paying child support. It’s some real sorry azz women out there too!!!!!!!!
