Chamillionaire Speaks From The Heart @ His, "Ultimate Victory," Listening Session(In Stores September 18th)

Chamillionaire held a media listening session for his sophomore album, “Ultimate Victory,” last night at Legacy Studios. While, “Ultimate Victory,” will be in stores September 18th, Cham will be releasing, “Mixtape Messiah 3,” & a “Mixtape Messiah DVD,” for free(Available on Chamillionaire.com). The DVD will feature an hour of exclusive interviews, show performances, backstage tour footage & studio footage. Cham also showed his new video for his first single, “Hip Hop Police,” ft. Slick Rick. In the video Cham pokes fun at the media’s attack on Hip Hop and recent controversy over the N-word & Don Imus situation.

This was not an ordinary listening session with people just sitting down and listening to music. Chamillionaire came into the building with a purpose. He started things off with a long speech about the rap industry and life. Chamillionaire passionately stated, “I want everybody in here listening, you hear me!” Cham stated “I want everybody in this room to feel they know me a little bit more, because people to this day still don’t know me.” Cham commented on Hip Hop fans being too focused on records sales, “now a days you got little kids saying so and so sold 200k first week he’s flopping, what part of the game is this?” Cham talked about having a purpose in life and in his music.

Check out the full Speech below,A MUST SEE THE MAN IS GIVING YOU SOME REAL TALK.

Cham commented on Hip Hop fans being too focused on records sales, “now a days you got little kids saying so and so sold 200k first week he’s flopping, what part of the game is this?”

Chamillionaire is feeling the pressure already he knows people won’t be looking for his album when Kanye West & 50’s new album drop in September. I wouldn’t be surprised if his album is pushed back to October.

  13. HJ Says:

I like wat he stands for. I can’t really judge him because I havem’t heard a lot of his work. I do think that he should use his fame to be a motivational speaker cuz he sayin a lot of true things and sounds likea true emcee, the person who does it for the love of rap not bcuz he just think it’s an easy way to make $.

  17. Isys Says:

I love Chamillionaire. His music, his humility, and the fact that he doesn’t feel like he has to conform to many of the industry cliches. I even like how he’s through with his grill, knowing he needs to have his “Grown Man” on.

He spoke that real, and I will be copping the album, legally, lol. Loved his first album and his mixtapes are always fire.

  18. Broadway Says:

He’s a cool dude, but come on, don’t get up there and cry like that…

  19. Mi Mi Says:

I like Chamillionaire’s mentality and humbleness, so i’ll support him. I hope his second LP is better or just as hot as some of the songs off of his first one. Regardless, i’ll cop, just off strength of his attitude. I like seeing artists that have his state of mind succeed.

  20. Y2Dre Says:

    REAL TALK, pay attention.

  21. Trigger08 Says:

Damn, I havn’t really been into Chamillionaire lately. But this is it, imma support this dude… he got great thoughts and I wish him great success. Big Props!

  23. Terrence Doggings Says:

YOU GET TO GO TO LISTENING SESSIONS WHEN YOU GET INVITED

  24. MsPink02 Says:

An artist isn’t truly an artist if he doesn’t have passion for his craft. Cham has proven he has passion for it and isn’t afraid to shed a tear over it too. What he is saying is very much so the truth. Even though low record sales for anyone on G-unit is more then just……now back to our scheduled programming. :)

Of course as you expect from the articulate and well spoken Dipset members they delivered beautiful inspiring music.

Oh yeah, Juelz is also on the track, dropping gems like
“They love R.Kelly and I love to pee”

    - What you want me to do? I’m sorry –

  48. Rush G Says:

You Know what’s wrong with Hip Hop? 2 many fu@#in haters like some of you in this conversation! We will never get ahead!!!!!!!!! Some things are worth (career suicide), just ask Martin L.K. or Malcolm X

  49. Bitch Magnet Says:

if i ever got in the rap game ill come at this clown nigga

  50. El Presidente Says:

That is what’s wrong with Hip-Hop. Everybody swear it’s dead cause people outside of NY are getting money. The only time we come together is to boycott Cristal. I remember a time when it made me proud to see artists give other artists props. The so-called “hip hop headz” puttin more salt in the game than white folks. Dudes in the south didn’t say anything when “Chicken Noodle Soup”, “Ballin’”, “I Get Money”, etc, were getting shine. They’re feel-good songs that just make you nod your head. But when southern artists (in their own way) do the same and get hella publicity, EVERYBODY gotta have an opinion. If the music is that whack, what are you doin to make it better other than complainin. Cham was talkin real for you, and if you hatin that much you’re part of the problem.

  51. peazy Says:

this is what’s lacking in hiphop and in music in general.

  52. ahn Says:

I like him and i have alot of respect for the dude, people always have to hate on somebody.

  55. Cool Says:

    chamillitary mayne!!

  56. down south chick Says:

Obviously you dumbies who have something negative to say, didn’t watch and/or listen to what he was actually saying. Y’all must be stupid. I live in Houston and Cham is always on the radio, he been saying he didn’t care about album sales, what only made him happy was enjoying his music and life. Dumb @ss niggas! Just because he aint talking about how many h$#s he got, or how much bling he has, doesn’t make his music less interesting than 50 or whoever else. In my opinion it makes it better, it has meaning to it.

  57. 50 Says:

if it aint bout money or record sales.. then he should change his name to chahungry hahahaha

u either gonna eat with the unit or u gonna eat canned sardines

  58. Shakur Says:

we need more rasppers like him i didnt know him but now this man got my respect true rappers real passion

  59. MissOmygoodnezz Says:

I’ve met Chamilionaire personally a couple of times and humble isn’t even close to what he is. He is a true gentleman. I had the chance to interview him for a DVD and I swear, he did not say ONE curse word. That may not seem like nothing to you, but anyone who is around hip hop artists know what I’m talking about. This man was articulate, held an interview well and when asked to take pictures between sets of his video, he didnt mind, didnt complain. He even let me where the chain for a lil bit, got me into VIP with his entourage and all. I’ve been a Cham fan since 2001 and still have much respect for the man, tear or not!

  60. Sam Says:

Good speach bro. If he cried or not, who cares….its not a sign of weakness ladies and gents…..we need more talk with real emotions from more people on a daily basis. Don’t let society dictate what you consider out of bounds…be open.

  61. Fukk All Yall Says:

    fuk yall

  62. koopa Says:
