Tell Em Why You Mad: I Got That White Girl, That Lindsay Lohan
Am I the only one noticing the bias in the media? This chick Lindsay Lohan stay in trouble but the media seems real sympathetic for her time after time. In her most recent incident she was arrested for drunk driving and drug possession(Link). Instead of holding her accountable for the the bs she is doing, they focus on if can she get her career popping again and blame it on her parents and friends. My thing is if it was a rapper like 50 caught with cocaine we would never hear the end of it. Bill O’Reilly would dedicate a show on how 50 Cent is a role model and is influencing kids to do drugs. Lindsay Lohan has millions of girls looking up to her, so why doesn’t she get the same kind of criticism? Some people may say it is because she is a young female, but to me it’s the media always ready to attack anything related to Hip Hop. Would Lil Kim get the same kind of coverage after a drug arrest?, I don’t think so.

Not sure that I agree. A lot of people have spoken unfavorably about Lindsay, most notably Judge Judy who said “Lindsay’s not the victim. It’s other people’s lives she’s putting at risk.” I couldn’t agree more. As far as 50 Cent, I think that’s a bad example. I gots no sympathy for that ignorant, Bush-loving caveman. And whether you realize it or not, Lindsay is a huge star. She’s going to get more coverage than the people you listed regardless of the charges or situation. Look at the Remy Ma situation, a life was lost (whether she did it or not), but she’s not that huge. If it was a major black star like Oprah or Diana Ross, it would be a different story.

They persucute the hip-hop culture and its artists about what is said on records for the lack of lazy ass parenting, and how it influences and inspires violence and most-recently animal cruelty, when everyone has their own mind and can make their own decisions. Its not just rap stars that get the hate, rich young black people get non stop news coverage as soon as they o something wrong. Imagine if that chick raven from nickelodeon got busted for having cocaine in her car or some shit, it don’t matter that they never caught her smoking that ish her career would be OVER, and that goes for any other young black successful female in the game. Its sad but thats the world we live in.
As for the O’reily thing I was just scanning channels the other night and I did notice he was discussing lindsay lohans situation, did I watch it, no, but he did discuss her.

Again I think people are picking and choosing which parts of the media they want to pay attention to. Shemar Moore, a black man, who got busted for a DUI isn’t being dragged through the mud nor is he going to jail. He got a slap on the wrist. This isn’t a race thing. Of course the media favors whites celebs, but these incidents that are being used on this post aren’t examples of that, especially when there are several other incidents that prove otherwise.

The professor what are you talking about? Lohan is an actress, she’s been in alot of movies, and still acts. Therefore she is seen everywhere. What white person hasn’t heard of Lindsey Lohan? She had an ankle bracelt to monitor her for a month and after that period, she got a year or so probation sentence, didnt even do 1 min in jail.
