“(Nelly)When he found out I got my deal, he didn’t congratulate or anything. I met him at Club Toxic and the label wanted me to reach out to get features from other established artists from St. Louis. So I asked him and he basically said, ‘Look here dirty, it’s not gonna happen. Especially with this being your first album, it’s not gonna happen.’

His album dropped last week and he only sold 29,000 the first week out. Imagine how much expenses he would owe after puttin’ a high-priced feature such as Nelly on his album. Oh yeah, and this diss track was whack. Like Nelly said, “A New St. Louis, that’s funny/ I rather stick wit’ the old, the new don’t make enough money”. That line alone says Nelly won this battle.

Although I am from the STL, I don’t like all the songs that have been made. the Pop Lock song is one of the wackest I’ve heard in a long time. There is a comment somewhere along the line from someone from ATL. Man please can anyone make a song on a different beat other than that Snap BS? LOL – The game has changed significantly, we may never see another 14 million seller. I got much respect for Nelly for telling Huey no. It takes alot of time and energy to establish your brand.
