Who cares if 50 has money, this is hiphop – its about the skill. His last album was trash, all the rhymes were weak and he sings the same hook on every song. That shit works in the club because who goes to a club to listen to wordplay but all that money can’t buy him a place in anyones top 5 mcs, Jigga fell off hard with Kingdom Come and I’m sick of Jigga and his “30 is the new boring” shit and lazy verses – he doesn’t even try to write dope shit anymore, but at least while he was on top he had the talent to go with his cake.

Another thing about 50 is hes not necessarily the business man he (and everyone else) thinks he is. He does the same thing to market every album – start a beef (proops to Chamillionaire for being the bigger man). If 50s such a great business man why can’t he make his artists blow? The only time G-Unit can sell records is when 50 Cent is hot, when he doesn’t have an album out his artists flop (Buck did good but Bucks his own man, look at Banks second album and Yayo’s first, Mobb Deeps album on the Unit did worse than their previous non G-Unit album).

50 also has no ear for talent. All the artists he signed to G-Unit are useless; Banks is wack and ran with Loso’s style, Yayo = garbage, Olivia got dropped, all the G-Units good artists were discovered by someone else. Juve found Buck, and Mobb Deep and MOP have been doing their thing for years.

I highly doubt 50 figgured out that vitimin water shit himself either, Chris Lighty or someone at Violator probablly advised him to buy that stock – you can affort a good management team when your first album sells like that. 50 has a good work ethic but hes not the business man he promotes himself as, all he did was run with the opportunities that were given to him when his first album did what it did.

damn this is still a topic LOL. 50 will outsell kanye, dude has put out 3 SINGLES and has the JT record on the way LOL. he’s pushing it 2 much. this is like when beyonce put out 3 vids before her album even came out and ppl got tired of it before the album was out. u gotta keep ppl guessing, when u water urself down like dat, ppl jus backlash. 50 will outsell kanye but not by a lot cuz ppl download. the thing that may hurt 50 is if ppl download his album and it sounds anything like the massacre ppl may not buy the album the 2nd or 3rd week, while i’ve downloaded kanye’s albums which prompted me to actually buy his CD 2 support him.

when it comes to singles radio means nothing b/c mind u, this is how all those southern shitty records get poppin in the 1st place, so i judge this on the amount of times i see an artists video. MTV JAMS plays rap music 24/7. i’ve prolly seen “amusement park” and “str8 to the bank” once or twice. i’ve seen “i get money” a few times but not as much as vids like “in da club” and “candy shop” which were on 24/7 back in the day. hence 50 cent isnt getting that attention that he usually gets.

i’ve seen “can’t tell me nothin” a few times like “i get money” but its not that huge record like “gold digger” was back in the day but “can’t tell me nothing” seems like an underground hit to me. on the other hand i see “stronger” all the freakin time on that channel, not as much as “gold digger” but i see it enough to get sick of the vid, ergo i think ‘ye is gettin more attention then anything 50 has done.

timberlake is poppin right now, 50 cent HAS to put out that record cuz c’mon its JT, even if the song suxx they’ll play it cuz JT is all over the record. ima proclaim it right now, if this JT record doesnt get poppin like his bigger hits in the past, then i think 50 may really have 2 worry if being #1 is that important to him. remember kanye has nothing to lose, ppl are expecting 50 to be #1, but right now his album just isnt getting any buzz or not as much as his first to albums. kanye is in the perfect position right now. either way whether ‘ye is #1 or #2 he’s gonna sell like 500 thousand (same w/ 50, give or take) and ‘ye produced a record for 50 and everybody knows producers make more money then rappers/singers so either way it’s a win/win 4 kanye so of course 50 has to be nervous. if he wasnt he wouldnt be putting out like 10 singles before the album even drops
