Thoughts on this documentary coming out at this point of time? It seems to me this case will never be solved, people can only make assumptions. Is this a case of people trying to dinf the truth or make money off of Tupac’s demise?

I used to have the documentary by one of Pac’s bodyguards at the time he died. He was talking about some stuff that was crazy. He said Suge told them to not bring their guns to Vegas (the night of the murder) then tried to blame the bodyguard when Pac was killed. He pretty much blamed it all on Suge. It made some sense though.

pac was an inteligent young man that was an average rapper at best BUT wrote about so many great subjects in his music. he was so passionate bout his music that is why he has like a zillion records. was pac a great rapper? no, was he a very good rapper? yes. u cant say pac was the GOAT b/c lyrically biggie, jay-z, nas, rakim, snoop, krs-1, (young) ice cube, and eminem would body him line 4 line. but wut he lacked in lyrical ability he made up 4 in his stage presence and just making controversial records bout young black life.
now my thing was, how do u go from being a backup dancer 4 digital underground (wackest group ever) to being a “thug.” he did his dancing behind humpty dumpty or w/e his name was and but discovered that gangsta rap was the way 2 go cuz of death row, dr dre, snoop, and ice-T (A REAL GANGSTA). ppl tend 2 forget that pac was only on death row 4 a year or 2 if not a few short months. then as soon as he signs 2 death row hes this bad ass, c’mon even u pac stans gotta question this. after that he starts running w/ real gang niggas who have no future at all.
ice-T said on vh1 that he was pissed at pac 4 doing that cuz “pac isn’t a real thug, pac has a future, those gang niggas don’t have a future so they don’t care if they die today or tommorrow. pac who has a future and influences many is putting his life in jeopardy and may influence his fans 2 do that same thug crap hes doing.”
when it comes 2 the whole biggie beef, i look at it like this. pac set the blueprint 4 wut 50 cent would do. start beef 4 controvery and RECORD SALES. biggie told pac many times that he never set pac up. biggie said u can meet me somewhere to talk or u can lemme take a lie detector test, but pac never responded. either pac believed him or not, he staged his beef dissing biggie on records. when biggie met him at sum award show (American Music Awards in vegas i think) pac said “hey man im jus trying 2 make me sum money, sell sum fucking records.”
b/c of pac’s death running w/ real gangsta’s he put himself in a situation he wasnt ready 4 and paid that price. b/c of that beef shit he caused biggie’s death as well. he got caught up in his own hype and lost touch w/ reality and really thought he was a gangsta nigga. but its hard 2 believe u when u were at art skool and back up dancing 4 digital underground. i mean that’s suttin he should’ve been pround of, not trying 2 hide it 2 make himself look tough. i mean u niggas diss 50 cent and ja rule 4 being fake thugs but this guy was the originator LOL he gave them the blueprint 2 dis shit.

Well I agree with Ola to a certain degree. But also Big wasn’t as gangsta as he proclaimed to be. Even his mother said that she made enough income to support their family comfortably and that he greatly exagerrated in his songs about his uprising and how hard it was. Biggie never killed nobody, never did no real time. He was a good rapper, but like the majority of these rappers he told more stories than fact.
As for Pac, I don’t know how poor he was and what enviroment he grew up in but I think he got a scholership to that art school. It doesn’t matter what hood your in, if you get a scholership you have to be crazy not to take that shit. And I don’t see how going to art school makes you any less of a real nigga or a hard nigga. Going to school makes you learn alot, and you can apply that shit to the drug game if you learn about business and how its conducted.
I mean If I was a boss i would have been like stringer bell. I would take my ass to some community college while I play the game on the side. Would that make me any less gangsta? I would setup stores for fronts and shit and try to make enough money to go legit. I mean these street niggas need more education.
These niggas aint bosses, their fucking chumps with guns in the hood. Anyone can be a “thug” in the hood, it all depends on how far your mindstate and consious will allow you to go. Its more about being strong. But what im saying is that some of these dumb niggas should try to be smart gangstas, like how the mafia did shit.
