NBA Finals Spurs lead 1-0 Lebron fans…where ya’ll at? (By Ali From Cali)
The First 3 quaters was a nightmare for Lebron. He didnt have a field goal until the 7 minute mark in the 3rd quater. His teamates were non-existent like Lebron’s usual break away dunks. Looks like Tony Parker is getting two rings this summer. A NBA championship ring and a wedding ring from Eva, scheduled on July 7, 2007. Please stop comparing these cats to the deuce3. Although he also lost his first NBA finals game, MJ had a crazy game with 36 points and 12 assists. The spurs’ defense was rough, looks like another ring is coming

cavs played awesome defence for 3 quarters and stayed alive although lebrons scoring presence was clearly not there.
wen it counted the spurs and in particular mr parker stepped up.
Spurs are indeed a boring team to watch imo, and ginobly is like a rag doll.
I don’t know why cleaveland ran that pick and roll with lebron… it played right into the spurs gameplan of double teaming him and not allowing him to drive.

Asides the fact that the Cavs are probably going to lose in either 5 or 6… Bron is still young. It’s too early for negative and/or positive comparisons. The Spurs are most certainly the big bad wolf of the west and Bron and his troops will experience the wrath. They’re also the oldest team in the NBA so this will be an extraordinary learning experience for Bron.

How might the jordan lover react if mr. james does pull it off? I agree with the “Witnesses” and would like to add Michael had Scottie and a host of other talented battle tested vets, lebron has big z?, Larry hughes?, and Drew gooden??? If lebron jus gettin by Detroit put him on mike’s level to me! Plus this was too close a game after seeing lebron’s #’s the spurs better not get too comfortable even though I do expect them to win.
P.S. the hoops goat is MJ, the m is fro magic though. The guy michael couldn’t gaurd in that game 1 of the 91 finals!

This is a complete joke. And I’m not talking about the game I’m talking about the talking heads in this thread right now. It’s one game. And we’re not talking about a pivotal game 3 or 4. We’re talking about Game 1. A game where the teams are just feeling each other out, figuring out strategy and what works and doesn’t. What the hell did you expect? This is what happens. I don’t get why people are acting like women and projecting the series is over and what not. I mean, I don’t think anyone who stands when they pee was thinking the Cavs were going to sweep the Spurs, so what’s the big surprise in this final score? The Spurs were at home, which in basketball home court advantage is like 5 or 6 points and the Cavs lost by a respectable margin. So where’s the whining coming from?

First off I wasn’t calling out names, nor will I insult a person I know nothing about on the internet. My statement towards you was true in the end anyways just as I assumed.
Bandwagon hopper is a person who was not cheering for the team during the duration of the season or playoffs for that matter and then randomly wants them to win and will pretend he was a devoted fan the whole time. Your quote proves my reasoning:

NOW, as for Daniel Gibson being a “nobody” as you call him. He carried his High School to a State championship while averaging 26pts. He also starred on the Texas Longhorns in his two seasons spent there. All that aside… a nobody is a person that doesn’t make it anywhere (i.e. YOU, since you are such a devoted basketball player since gr.1.. you’re probably still chasing your “dream”). So getting drafted in the 2nd round is nothing to be embarassed about, nor is a state championship and playing for the Texas Longhorns.
