Why The Hell Did Luda Take Chingy Back?
On Saturday night, it was all about peace in the Disturbing Tha Peace camp. Chingy talked to MTV News for the first time about rejoining the crew while Ludacris divulged plans for a new album.
“It’s still a beautiful thing,” Chingy said backstage at Los Angeles radio station Power 106’s annual Powerhouse concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim. “Back with DTP like I ain’t never went nowhere. It’s all good.”
I don’t get this move at all. Chingy had some success with you at first, then talks reckless and complains about money. So he leaves and ends up flopping and comes back? Ludacris seemed very unhappy about the whole incident, stating in 2004:
“This is the first time we hear about his accusations, in a tabloid or through different media outlets, so all respect is lost. He keeps saying it’s cool. It’s not cool. … It’s completely over.” Source
Maybe I’m a bit strict, but after you try to make me look bad in the public I am not going to give you another shot. Especially after your last album flopped.

Damn… Luda’s buggin with this one… He stated very clearly on his newest album that “he dont want nothing to do with him”, now he takes him back. Chingy has to be one of the corniest rappers out right now. The fact that he gets another shot at an album is sad… This nigga Chingy should of been washed out of the game with the rest of the garbage rappers out now.
horrible move! Dont care if u fam, anytime someone tries to put u on blast in public and then return should be blacklisted! Not saying they should be enemies or cant be cool but business is business and this was not a smart business move, period!
well as far as being a member of dtp, chingy was the most successful rapper under ludacris, all the other artists dont have commercial appeal, on a business end I think its a good move on a respect end im sure chingy knows that he needs to be apart of the dtp he should be apologizing to the media for getting a big head.
Why are people saying this is a bad business move? Chingy was multi with DTP. That looks good on both Chingy and DTP. Even though Chingy’s last album flopped he is still the biggest name on DTP (besides Ludacris of course).
As for Ludacris taking him back, why not? Things change and people resolve there differences. Who are we to say that Luda shouldn’t sign him again? Its not like one of them fucked the others baby mother, made a song about it, and then signed him (NAS).

although chingy and luda were not cool anymore, luda was still making money off chingy. and yes is last album did not do good, so maybe luda feels he needs to make more money. and the only way that can be done is if chingy is back on DTP. besides chingy needs luda his flava is the only recipe to make chingy album hot and successful. chingy go get it crew/boyz cant help him or make hit records like what luda and dtp can do for him

Why is chingy in the rap game and Im not…We all know damn well that chingy will never release a classic album like blueprint, Illmatic, chronic, etc. Even these new rappers are good like the game on documentary, carter 2, thug motivation, food and liquor, urban legend, Chingy will never release an album like the ones I’ve mentioned so why sign him? Everybody knows that any publicity is good publicity and if Chingy leaves, talks shit, and Ludacris takes him back… it is going to cause an uproar, and guess what.. its good for everybodies album!
