Lloyd Banks Is Working On A New Album
According to MTV’s Mixtape Monday:
“The industry scorned him because he’s a rapper’s rapper,” XL added. “He doesn’t sit through marketing meetings and know the politics of radio — or even the little backlash coming. When Banks came out, he had to fight a lot of hate. It wasn’t based on music no more; it was the politics.”
Sha is predicting big things for the album Banks is currently cooking up. “The album he’s working on is amazing and he’s coming back like Jay-Z after ‘Sunshine,’” he said. “[Sometimes] you get that one album that don’t connect, but Banks’ fans is still with him. He’s still touring and doing shows like sh– is all the way right. He’s coming to beat their heads in — he on some lyrical exercise.

I think Banks last album wasn’t as bad as people were saying. He can definitely make a comeback, whether it is with G-Unit or not.

Oh….I am waiting for this!!! The younger ladies LOVE Banks and he is very talented lyrically. I think he will do well with a few more tracks for the ladies on this album because he has a large female following. I think he just got discouraged after his last album was leaked!!!! He probably put his ALL into it and just gave up a little after that shit happened. I hope he is stronger now because of it.

Banks prob learned alot form his sophmore LP and I’m sure this go around he will seem to once again amaze us with his lyrical workouts on the instrumentals. It is true what he said though about him bringing the punchline game to whole nutha level. Can’t wait for this LP. . .
