It’s a point the mother of his ten-year-old child is making in a Long Island family court, which could decide to send 50 Cent’s child support and alimony payments soaring.
The hip-hop mogul rolled up to the courthouse yesterday in an armored SUV equipped with a satellite dish. Right now, he’s paying $25,000 a month to the mother of his ten-year-old son. But the boy’s mother says that’s a drop in the bucket compared to the tens of millions of dollars 50 Cent is worth.
I know 50’s baby mother must of said Cha-Ching when she heard about the vitamin water deal. How much money do you need to raise a single 10 year old? Do you guys think she should get more money if 50 becomes even more richer or it should stay constant independent of 50’s increase in earnings.

#29 makes a good point. Truth is though, we’re talking about a ten year old. Keeping the kid’s lifestyle equal with his doesn’t take that much money. With already $25,000 a month, neither the kid nor the baby mother should be wanting for anything. Obviously, it’s nothing compared to what 50 is worth, but still a lot of money in it’s own right.
Depending on how much the increase is, I think 50 should just pay it and keep it moving. However, she’s making a huge mistake bringing it to him like this. If she were smart, she’d be cool, and maybe he’d keep breaking her off well after the kid turns 18. Something like this could cause 50 to resent her ass and not do a damn thing for her after the kid becomes a legal adult..
