  5. NYNY Says:

  6. gemmedaps Says:

wow the only person wit half a brain that commented this post was the second guy..this is garbage…but for someone to call this hip hop…its stright disrespect.who ever call this hip hop…im sry my boy but then you don’t know what hip hop is. and you should really look into it before you state a comment like that an make your self look like an ass

  7. THE MAN Says:

it funny how a group of girls and the first to take her clothes off is a Black Female, guess it aint just rap HUH. you see how easy it is to point out BS, and complain about it

for the dude that only listen to rap, no wonder you mad all the damm time man. Music is a reflection of how you feel, you dont wanna smack a nigga every day. that why there other Genre

  8. whoa Says:

t baby if u like this song then i know what kind of music u listen to. and if u think this is hip hop then i know what kind of person u are. why would i comment on it if i didnt listen to it? i listened to it and it sucked. if i wouldve listened to it and it was hot, i wouldve said it was hot. gemmedaps u was right on point wit that shit about niggas disrespectin hip hop, let me tell u that brova.

  9. piffpusher Says:

wow wat the fuck iz this shit?

  10. whoa Says:

hatin because white ppl like it? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  11. whoa Says:

hatin because white ppl like it? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  12. T Baby Says:

in my cd player right now, beanie sigel- bcoming.
i took out common- like water for chocolate to put the sigel in.

its called being open minded. i listen to everything from alternative rap to gangster rap.
niggas just wanna hear one type of music all the time, not me.

i aint say the song is a classic.
i have the cd, the song is aight, and i said its aight.
its better than alot of bullshit that is out right now.

its different, the boy trav can deliver his lyrics and the band go hard. its definitly not trash.

  13. T Baby Says:

    but to each his own.

and we wonder why rap is in the state its in right now.

  14. whoa Says:

    i have the cd

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    enough said

u can say i wanna hear gangsta rap all u want to, but i would never, NEVER purchase or download the fuckin gym class heroes. u open minded, thats cool. but i dont even wanna hear that bullshit ass cd they probably put out. i got my gnarls barkley cd, so im open minded enough. but i dont even like that cd that much. imma keep it 100 and say that alternative rap sucks balls

  15. chosen.1 Says:

The Song that plays in the first 10 secs of the video is called “Viva La Whitegirl” (Whitegirl= cocaine) off their album. They should made a video for that song instead of clothes off. This video is still cool tho. I fucks wit Gym Class Heroes because they bring something different to Hip Hop.

Alot of yall probly arent feelin the rock/skaterpunk sound that they blend with rap lyrics, but hip hop is about diversity. When Run DMC did “Walk This Way” with Aerosmith it had a hard rock hook to it, but we still considered it Hip Hop didnt we?

We need to embrace all forms, that dont just include the usual “shoot a nigga, slap a hoe” lyrics. Dont get me wrong, I like that hard street shit too, but it is refreshing to hear somethin different.

Give GCH a shot. I suggest you listen to their first album papercuts if you havent heard their stuff before, as that is the better album..

  16. whoa Says:

^^^^yeah i hear u. but let me ask u a question? what is a gym class heroe?

  17. gemmedaps Says:

nah my point was that someone said that this is hip hop…NO this is not even near the genre…we need more old school rappers to bring the game back to life…NO MORE walk it outs and fuckin lip gloss and chicken noodle soup shit..its like feeding a kid poison…its killin the music that we once called hip hop. hopefully this can be fixed

  18. whoa Says:

smh @ niggas thinkin this is hip hop. rap is in the state it is cuz niggas named the “gym class heroes” think that shit is hip hop, not because niggas wanna hear real niggas rap about real life. fuck outta here wit this gym class hero bullshit. and Run DMC were the pioneers of hip hop, so whatever they came out with was considered hip hop. thats why the aerosmith shit was cool. u cant put some shit Run DMC did in the same category as the “gym class heroes”. and yall niggas started talkin about “gun busting” and “slap a hoe” (LOL) music. i didnt. i think common comes out wit good music. kanye good. but this song is garbage

  19. phatbat Says:

People are very narrow-minded nowadays. People are looking at hip hop as if its in black or white, and they act like there aren’t any gray areas. What do you define as hip hop? What’s the difference between GCH and the Roots? How is this video destroying hip hop? And how does this compare to lip gloss or chicken noodle soup? I like GCH because they aren’t like everybody else. They’re original and you can tell they really have a passion for their music. I’m not gonna act like I been down with them since the beginning, I first heard of them with “Cupid’s Chokehold”, but I do like what I’ve heard from them.
P.S.- It’s amazing how people will go out of their way to hate on what another man is doing… for free. If yall gonna do that, atleast be smart about it and get paid to hate

  20. WHITEY Says:

SUCKS.. I think I heard the other single which is OK but they’re trying to sound too much like Fall Out Boy on this song.

  21. Rafael Says:

Love the song! I like there sound..

  22. whoa Says:

phatbat aint nobody hatin. the song sucks. but evidently u like it too, so youre gonna say im hating. smh @ niggas who like dis bullshit

  23. Rafael Says:

Another thing, why do you care to try and classify this music into a category? So you can feel proud to listen to it if its under one of ’societies accpeted’ categorys of music? Music is music. Listen to it, appreciate it.

  24. phatbat Says:

Evidently other people like it also, if they making money off of it, but it’s all good. I know that everybody isn’t gonna like the same types of music and what not, but what’s crazy to me is that dudes can sit back and call it garbage and bullshit and what not. To me that’s disrespectful. Maybe it’s just me, but the way I was brought up was knowing that you may not like a person, but you gotta respect them. And real talk Rafeal, music is music

  25. blackmamba Says:

I like this song and Gym Class Heroes is a great group…I really like their music.

BTW the second comment was just extremely stupid.

  26. SneakAttack Says:

do they claim to be hip-hop? i’d consider them more hip hop influenced… but it’s not like it’s an original song, they sampled Jermaine Stewart.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID_N7rv-iN8

although the semi remake was poorly executed, i’m cool with their sound. it’s always nice to hear something a little different.

  27. News Flash Says:

It’s funny 2 me how sum mudfukas on here shit on this band for bein’ different. Though it might not be music you listen too, but this is hiphop. Just because there r not on sum ignorant ni99a shit doesn’t mean it’s not hiphop(BEP, Gnarls Barkley,Mos Def, etc).

I bet u that the lead singer/emcee can rhyme circles around your favorite rapper(he got on through battling).

    P.S.
The lp might not be a classic, but it’s better than 90% of the shit that’s out now. And that’s realtalk.

  28. VENOM Says:

finally somebody brought some originality out there!! all u hatin ass niggas need 2 stop it… just because he ain’t rappin bout bustin guns & pimpin bitches & pushin a ferrari & hustlin don’t mean he aint hip hop… u ignorant ass…

  29. $k!lLz_Da_Hu$TL@ Says:

  34. News Flash Says:

    TRAVIS IS BLACK!!!!!!!!

  35. Tonythetiger Says:

    #2 I feel you

This is NOT HIPHOP, its rock or pop or both, but it is NOT hiphop. Kanye west is hiphop, so is common, mos def, 50 cent, jadakiss, T.I., lil wayne, papoose, joel ortiz, snoop, KRS one, nas, jay, lupe fiasco ETC ETC but no where on that list will you find fucking gym class heroes- you can’t even call them back packers, dude got a band, RIGHT?

take that fall out boy shit out of here!

  36. Dance-MyPassion Says:

I agree wit #4 T Baby. Niggaz need to stop hatin and explore a lil bit, seriously. I bet half of yall neva even heard of GHC till RealTalk posted this video. So that would mean this is the only song you ever heard from em. I got the album, and this song is not one of my faves but it aint bad. If some of yall love music as much as you say, you wouldnt limit yourself to one type of genre. GHC- betta than some of tha shit thats out nowadays.

  37. Dance-MyPassion Says:

    GCH* my bad

Also, they always say that hip hop influenced them. Take it how ya want.. still.. GCH- betta than some of tha shit thats out nowadays

  38. blanco montana Says:

  41. JamRock Says:

SMH head at theze ignorant fucks that come on this site. Shout outtzz to the open minded people, you dont have to like the song bcuz to each his own, but dont say who ever listen to this shit is soft or a faggot. LMAO If you think that what type of music you listen to determines whether you gangsta or hard you just plain IGNORANT and are not anything close to a “gangster”, you are what they call a wankster.

Fuck niggaz peep game, a real gangster doesnt have to dress or walk or talk a certain way or listen to certain types of music, to keep it funky wit u I got unclez that listen to fucking Celion Dion and wear the tightest clothes eva who are more G than any one of yall, trust. A real G handles his business like a real grown azz man and also is comfortable with who he is no matter the situation plain and simple. Fuck that fake hardcore bullshit you see on tv, that aint what being G is.

P.S. And pleaze trust that Im not just talkn shit at the safety of my PC, Id say this to any one of yall faces with out hesitation.

  42. whoa Says:

^^^^get yo rasta fari ass the fuck outta here. aint nobody say what type of music u listen to determines if u a “gangsta”. i aint say shit about bein no gangsta. but nigga im in the street for real, and we dont rock wit music like dis. if u like dis shit, u like backpack rap, and u probably one of dem punk ass niggas. im speakin from a nigga point of view who do da damn thang, if u like dis shit u probably dont. u listen to dis, u listen to that “put me in yo pocket” bullshit, u listen to dat “so crispy” bullshit, u more than likely a fag ass muthafucka. straight up. how many of gym class heroes fans is homos. a large percentage muthafucka. yall niggas aint gonna get at me like i said u gotta listen to some hood music to be a real nigga, but yall cant argue wit the fact that the majority of “gangsta” niggas listen to “gangsta” music. yall niggas can listen to whatever the fuck yall wanna listen to. but if u ridin in yo car to some shit like this, u probably ridin in a fuckin yaris or a kia sport. yall niggas go get some cash and get the fuck outta here supportin dis bullshit ass music. fuck wrong wit yall niggas. and rasta get the fuck outta here talkin about yo uncles and shit, dem niggas listen to celine dion and they probably old as hell. LMAO dont no young ass nigga out here doin da damn thang listen to celine dion, older niggas is on some older shit. listen to whatever the fuck u wanna listen to ras. but dis is some fag ass music. and fyi if u called me ignorant or a wanksta to my face, ill blow yo shit in u bitch ass nigga. and if u get up ill knock yo head off boy. and if u think im some internet ass nigga, guess again u punk ass nigga

  43. JamRock Says:

Keep it up, and nigga u talk like u hav no type of education, ur momz must be proud.

  44. GCH FAN Says:

Wow. Nice debate goin. Im not in the least offended that sum aint feelin GCH but if u listen to papercut chronicles Travis could dog alot of these “rappers” out here. I dnt really fuck wit too much of rap today becuz its so commercial now and half these ppl is lyin. Old school hip-hop is my preference and GCH can count as Hip-Hop which use to be fun feel good party shit. Ppl is doin GCH like they did the peas (except @ one time the peas was extra gritty, pre fergie) they just a new form of hip-hop. but hate if u want cuz alot still luv em

  45. GCH FAN Says:

Ayo whoa im fan and i aint gay. And we dnt really need to be cussin each other out. Im just sad that Hip-hop cant grow evovle and expand past what it is any more becuz of such close minded opinions. What i want to know exactly is y doesn’t it count as hip hop? Because he sampled that dudes sound, becuz they choose a live band over canned beats, or because he sumtimes sing, what is he doin when he’s rapping better than half the sorry mutha fuckas out now? You aint got like the man his shit but respect him for havin the balls to be himself.
