What Is The Last Album You Actual Paid Retail For?
I’m just wondering what was the last album that compelled you to the point that you actually paid the full price for it, instead of downloading it or getting it from your local hustle man. Also what albums coming out this year do you plan to buy from the stores?
The last album I bought was Ne-Yo’s, the, “Do You,” track was fire and I decided to cope. Also his first album was hot so I figured i give it a shot. Before than….. damn it’s been a while. I would of bought Hip Hop is Dead and K-Os album but got them free. So before that was probably Late Registration and God Son.
Looking through the answers it seems a lot of people are saying Kingdom Come. Jay-Z had some crazy marketing and got mad people to come out their pockets. Also I see Hip Hop is Dead and From Nothin To Somethin. So it seems you guys are only buying the albums of established artist than been in the game for a while.

I am on my way out to pick up Chrisette Michele’s “I AM.” Her voice is out of this world…My next purchase was supposed to be 50’s album next week…but we all know what happened with that. Man I don’t buy albums I download singles and whatever I like from ITunes. So I still support the artist. I stop buying entire albums, because the artist puts crappy material on them and it’s not worth it. The last album I bought was the Doctor’s Advocate. If the artist make 16 to 20 singles on one album I’ll start back buying. Until them 16 bucks gets me 16 guarantee hot songs from 4 different artist.

I bought R. Kelly’s DOUBLE UP, shit I had that on my calender WAITING for that to come out for like a month! I was super excited. Tomorrow is T.I. vs. T.I.P! Support T.I., buy the album don’t pirate it, come ooon.
Some songs you can tell are going to be one hit wonders. Unless an artist comes out with 2 or more singles that I like, or they have had kick ass albums in the past, I don’t buy it.
