WTF 50 & The BET Awards Flopped Big Time, Videos Of Performances
I got a little recap of the show and video of the performances below.
What a night, what a night. I don’t think the showed lived up to previous years at all. Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Holiday can of course kill it vocally. It seemed that Ms.Holiday was trying to hard and making to many face expressions. Ms. Hudson was fine, but that dress she wore made her stomach stick out. Monique’s intro was a mess, we have been there and done that. The fact that she chose an old Beyonce song made it even worse.
T.I. came out and gave a regular performance, noting out of the ordinary. Beyonce did her thing with the futuristic outfit and plenty of dance moves. Then incorporating Kelly Rowland and Eve in the performance was a nice touch. Kelly Rowland’s thighs definitely had my attention. It was good of T.I. to apologize for snuffing Luda’s manager while accepting an award. Who knows if he really means it or it was T.I. instead of T.I.P. talking.
Diddy, Keyshia Cole & Lil Kim did their thing. Yea Diddy was lip synching, but what do you expect. Ne-Yo did his thing with Fabolous. Robin Thicke had a nice performance. Ciara was doing her thing, more street than usual. She was dancing in front of Bow Wow near the end, he has on a white shirt and a blue hat, LOL. She is thrusting her hips right in front of him, pause the video at 3:55.
But we can’t forget the most hyped up performance of the night. I saw a million commercials telling fans to vote on which song 50 would perform. 50 had the steroids ready, but seemed to forget his lyrics or something. The man then decides to walk around the crowd for no reason, even Tony Yayo doesn’t know wtf is going on. He then does a verse and stops, and of course he gives a shout out to vitamin water. ITS THE BET AWARDS NEGRO, damn at least make an effort for your people. You want people to buy your records and you going to play all your fans like that?

I’m not hating, but how did Lil Wayne & Birdman win the viewer’s choice award?
Diana Ross is definitely a legend and deserved every bit of her tribute.
Tocarra’s breast deserve their own show.

Best rapper – Jay Z then Weezy… Lets make that clear: Jay Z THEN Lil’ Wayne. Lil’ Wayne is raw talent, but we have a legen in front of our eyes, pay your respect.
And that is definetely weak that NAS aint on there, that portrays what has happened to Hip Hop, give credit where credit is do. Nothing against the south, but these dudes are legends. Check out that T.I. ft. Eminem, wanted a more ruthless joint, but its good though.

LOL. 50 is a funny nigga. I was dissapointed, 50 and g-unit killed the BET awards in 03 and 04. It was a no contest, they allowed 50 to perform like 5 songs back then. This time his set was like 45 seconds, and he only spit on verse. I mean come on now. SHit was dissapointing to say the least.

this is the only fucking awards show worth watching that I watch….the rest of them are boring as shit(i.e. Grammys, Academy..etc.)….or it’s just not the music I listen to(i.e. MTV Music Awards having to much Rock & Pop).
But this was one of the weaker BET Award shows and I disagree with alot of the winners…..specifically Jennifer Hudson….who shouldn’t have gotten best new artist w/o a damn CD…..Lupe needs to get some fucking respect please…F&L was w/o a doubt one of the best if not the best album last year.
What else….50 is crazy as hell all becuz T.I. missed giving Yayo a pound by mistake. I don’t think I can say anything new about Beyonce’s performance that no one else has.

Beyonce and kelly shut it down. Ciara did good too. The tributes were on point. J-hud and J-holiday was sanging. Diddy was corny but Keisha Cole and lil Kim saved it for him. T.I. going crazy on the stage as usual. Didn’t see eve perform. Robin Thickie is the new John B. Neyo and Fab reminded me of Micheal Jackson and Jay-z. And 50 cent… well.. two thumbs down. Hopefully he’ll explain what was going on.

I dunno, I didn’t see anything wrong with the performance. What went wrong, he wasn’t lip syncing, his mike worked rite. I think he did wht he planned on doing. i kinda liked the performance. The only problem was timing. It came after the Gerald Levert thing. 50 cents performance was good whilst TI’s was near perfection for that type of track, although I would have wanted to hear his verses a little more.
