Stop The Madness: Stop Snitching Movement Goes Online
One of the nation’s most controversial Websites, whosarat.com, was the subject of media reports early Tuesday, but where did it go?
Whosarat.com claims that it has identified 4,300 informants and 400 undercover agents since 2004. It has many people in law enforcement calling the practice highly unethical at best. And while the site is off the Internet at this particular time, it appears that the information whosarat.com publishes is at least somewhat legal and protected.
There are multiple reports of people getting busted for drugs, informing on someone to reduce charges, and then their life is turned upside down again, when notifications are mailed to neighbors and bulletins are posted in the neighborhood warning criminals that a drug informant had moved into their neighborhood.
The site whosarat.com, was started by Sean Bucci, after an informant provided information to prosecutors that led to his indictment on federal marijuana charges. It seems the thinking behind it was closely aligned with the new movement in the hip-hop world that encourages people not to work with police on any level, even with violent, major crimes.
Of course they are going to mention Hip Hop with this. The site is a very dangerous thing, people can get killed off of things posted on the site. On top of that, people that may have not even did anything may be put in danger just by being put on the site. The Internet makes a lot of things easier, for good and bad.

Word… the internet is a powerful thing… gotta take the good with the bad… but one thing people need to understand with all this information we have access too… it’s VERY difficult to try and stop that flow of information… its gonna find its way out there one way or another.. and the people that really want to find it, definately will

WELL, MY QUESTION IS HOW IS THE POLICE LETTING THIS CONFIDENTIAL INFO OUT. THE POLICE SHOULD BE BLAMED, THOSE PIGS TRY TO TURN PEOPLE INTO SNITCHES, AND THEY OFFER THEM PROTECTION/WITNESS PROTECTION, ETC. BUT YOU KNOW DAMN WELL THOSE PIGS DON’T CARE ABOUT THE INFO, THEY PROABABLY RELEASED IT THEMSELVES. THATS THE REASON I SAY NO SNITCHING. BECAUSE IT’LL CAUSE YOU YOUR LIFE, AND THE POLICE AREN’T GOING TO PROTECT ITS SNITCHES. HOW ELSE DID THIS SITE GET ALL ITS INFO? UNDERCOVERS AND SNITCHES WORKING WITH THE PD ALWAYS HAVE THEIR INFO KEPT SECRET BY THE POLICE. THE LEAK CAME FROM THE POLICE. FUCK THE POLICE, AND DIDN’T A UNARMED BLACK MAN GET SHOT TO DEATH WHILE IN HIS MINI VAN LIKE LAST WEEK IN NY. THE CAR EXPLODED AFTER HE GOT SHOT TOO.

i dont know who this Sean Bucci guy is, but he is a crafty, smart muthafucka that i need to be friends with. at the same time, he’s probably a dead man. he shouldn’t of let everybody know who he was. he could of got more cake by just layin low and lettin muthafuckas know who was snitchin, blackmail, extortion, shit like that. thats dangerous too, but think about all the cops on his website that could have him touched. i guess he just wanted to let everybody know what was goin on, but that was stupid to let his name get out
