To all this may concern,
Let me drop a line of wisdom and insightful knowledge to the game of marriage.
It is a bond of “Holy Matrimony” wherein two become one.
There lies the underlying cause for the disruption, discord, and eventual division:
Whenever the “I” is dominant in the marriage it will soon find itself a place all alone.
Furthermore, for that good intentioned person who said “When I get married it will be forever”;
Every person who ever got married, did so with the same enthusiastic approach. Needless to say, unless those words were echos resounding from one heart to the next, how could they be any more than wishful thinking?
In the Holy Bible at St. Matthew 24: 12 Jesus the Christ, Son of the Living God said that “The love of many will wax (or grow very) cold.”
That my friend is what happens in marriages quite too often. Notice that Verse first said “Iniquity abounds”…hmm..that is what happened to Ol’ Lucifer the son of the morning; so he fell like lightening from Heaven; so do many fall from the grace of marital bliss.
See, when self center motivation settles in the heart of a married person, immediately marriage begans to lose its flavor, ferver and flame.
So, unless “We” and “Both” are kept steaming hot on the forefront of loves table of marriage, we as a nation will continue to see marriage treated like an over night thrill while the God forbidden “Same-sex unions” take over.
Finally my friends, it is important and more so vital for each one to deny themselves for the good of the other person. Not to please oneself but to be pleasing.
If you are not actually ready to give up more than sex, stay out marriage vows. It is a disgrace how so many stand at the altar in the Church or wherever the ceramony is held only to later stand against the covenant of matrimony.
In closing, how do we divorce the very one chosen to share a lifetime with us? We refuse to make soup or gumbo, rather, we opt out for a personal steak dinner.
