I think this video gives a new sense of awareness hip-hop/rap gives to America. Although these older women snap their fingers and shake their hips, the TRUE reason for the critque of black music is far more detailed and built upon events that can not be changed. Hopefully those who find this offensive should think about the content of other songs.

no one is attacking hip hop. the problem with hip hop is for the first time in a long time there is not a polarizing artist that really appeal to people outside their demographic. last time i checked hip hop is dominating every medium in this country. for everyone who insists the south needs to “step their lyrical game up” get a life i’m from the south and contrary to popular belief we’re not all homogenious meaning we don’t all think alike but me personally if i don’t like something i don’t listen to or buy it. and i encourage everyone to do the same.now this certain perceived attack on hip hop lyrics is media whoring at it’s finest people will back any cause i.e. russell simmons,al sharpton,master p,in order to keep their products and agendas moving learn from what’s going on right now in any industry when a group is succesful i.e. the south it’s taking money out other peoples pockets so their going to try to get that back by throwing stones remember jesus people
