While not all, all you have to do is look at the comments on the Master P editorial. While this Man is right, responsible and to be commended-you get more of “He Doesn’t sell” or “He’s broke”. It’s ass-backwards. I see more and more students more content with Home studies or Continuation school. More Men who wanna sell poison and Pimp our women for Rims and sneakers. More chicks interested in Money than being perceived and respected as a woman. The bullshit and childish antics done took over. Parenting sucks. How many parents I have to ask to Watch and control their children at my store. How embarrased that I have to watch them niggas that smell like grape swishers cuzz they don’t care that i have a job. Hip Hop Is Dead is a promotion gone backwards… when Kingdome Come drop millions of $$$ were spent on Hoves promo etc etc… because Nas was the talk of all Def Jam releases untill Hove announced he wuz comin’ out. So in order for somebody like Nas he was smart by sayin HHID its now May and the album wasnt the 3rd classic to follow Ill & Stillmatic and he still got ppl debatin the topic LOL… so yeaa it makes good convo and promotion for Nasir but no $$$ were really made of it and i think we ARE ALREADY for a new album… Hip Hop is only dead to the folks such as a Ghostface… Redman… Methodman… all the 90s kats who arent hott 2day… at the end of the day the people buy hott music… and the south movement is HOTT and consistent i mean i think Fat Joe hit it on the button dont be madd switch ya style up south paw.

Yo Hip Hop is not dead….These people comming out now are no longer rappers….They are Entertainers, clowns, sambos…..Tap dancing for pennies. For example the biggest sambo 50 cent…. The things he sold to get some gold…. There are real rappers out their though….like Lupe, Nas, Talib, David Banner on occasion, dead prez, mos def, the roots, pharcyde, sacrface, and much more…They just dont get as much light…… cause they spread light on what is going on and, don’t change for the industry….The industry changed for them….50 cent is not even creditable he took his name from a old stick up kid (Kelvin Martin). If your from the hood you know taking some one elses street name is some wack shit. These people created a name and left a legacy behind it(whether it Good or bad), and you going to take it….He sure did talk about how to rob is his first song….He created a style out of everyone elses.

The true real Hip Hop has gone down the drain. There’s nothing but bullshit being played over radio and television. BET, especially with that commercial wack ass countdown. Many people are dick ryders and think whatever is being played 50 million times throughout the day its some hot shit. It’s nothing but pure garbage and these so called rap artist need to challenge themselves and stop talking about the same shit.. Bitches, pushing keys, rims, cars, candy apple paint, dope, hoes, ect. If you have true talent and skills your record may not be in heavy rotation and you for damm sure may not go platinum. Which goes to show that just because you sell records doesn’t mean that your the hottest in the game. Bullshit sells and true talent is ignored. Their are so many lost souls amongst the black race and we really need to wake up…

Fat Joe don’t know damn thing about nothing. He said what he said to try and stay relevant and maybe seel some records. He failed on both levels.

The thing is that Ghostface is that good.. Even if he don’t sell, it’s good music. It ain’t about being ‘hott’ as some ignoramous said up top. It’s about keeping the artform intact for a new generation.. Don’t let the Media and the radio stations tell you what’s ‘hott’. Selling records don’t equal making good music.
