this is my perspective. son, if u cant relate to whatever he says u just havent gone through it. the people who can only relate to his rhymes are the people who are strugglin and its obvious to say that his fans are not going to be looking foward to waste 10-15 dollars on his album. they’ll prolly download or bootleg the shit any day rather than using their precious money that they earned, unless they really appreciate joell’s rhymes. the only reason why these corny ass rappers talking about ‘this is why im hot’ getting all the money is because all the people with money and the people who financially stabilized are buying all the records and they can relate to whatever the rappers are saying. cmon you gotta be real.. every rapper talks about financial stability and how they are caking it in whatever business they’re in. im happy to hear that joel ortiz is speaking through real life experience and sharing his part in this industry. gotta appreciate him for going against the trend that rap music plays nowadays.

Dude just spoke for every artist thats nasty..standing infront of the label everyday trying to hand out a cd,going to every talent show only to get jerked because the promoter rather have his homeboy win. Since records sales are going down only true talent will shine. Look at all these dudes thats getting radio spins, promotion…..and when they come out they aint selling squat. A new day is coming and its been so long. Cant wait to by his album. I havent heard a hot album through and through since Games first album dropped. That says alot. Oh yeah cant forget about AZ’s album.Awol was crazy.
