I think Jay-Z was the first on 60 minutes. But hip-hop isn’t hurting anything. It’s the way these kids are being raised by there parents. I’ve been listing to rap since 87. I knew that some of the things they talked about were made up and some of it was true. Just becuse MC so and so said he killed 200 people that didn’t make me want to go kill anbody. I’m not going to say that they don’t have any influence but kids know right from wrong. They have pretty girls, the cars, the clothes. But growing up in the hood those are things you want anyways. Poeple who are around you influence you more that anything you see on T.V.

I had to get another one in…but that’s how you deal with people trying to pull a fast one with all that intellectualizing and demonizing of the Cam’, Dame and rap in general. You have to take it back to high school on them. Dame and Cam went yin and yang on him. Cam came with the ignorant way about it(but still stating facts), and Dame came in more…should we say articulate, but saying the exact same thing. If that’s how Dame does it…it is easy to demonize him for being the bad guy and getting the business done. I would love for Dame to fight on my behalf(pause).

Even though Cam is a bloody idiot! We can’t blame Hip Hop artist and the industry for the negative things surrounding the culture. These executives and artist are all slaves, and the masters are us the general public. It’s all a simple example of supply and demand; if we made it necessary to hear “joy to the world” then the rappers would be thinking of all the different ways they can rap that phrase! It begins with the interest of the general public and ends with the labels and artists. Pointing fingers at the industry is going to change nothing; they are only in business solely for making money, and not for being responsible, just like cigarette companies. Again Cam is still the most ignorant person in Hip Hop and should me impeached!!!

What really blew me away was the fact that the Terminator movie(s) were looked at or referred to as a cartoon. wtf I do believe it was entertainment just as music in general is. And then O’Riely had the nerve to get mad and I’m glad he was called out for it…what is really going on? I mean why does everyone need someone to blame about the children and there choices. I believe we as parents need to step it up. The reality is there is negativity around us everywhere (this is a negative world) but how you choose to indulge in it is on you because your children are picking up on your actions.
