Sebastain Telfair Dropped By The Celtics
BOSTON – The Boston Celtics are severing ties with guard Sebastian Telfair days after he was arrested in the New York area and charged with carrying a loaded gun in his car. It always bothers me when you punish a guy so severely before there’s been a finding of fact. I think that’s wrong whether it happens in Durham (N.C) or in Boston,” Hayes(His Lawyer) said.
Damn, hope he gets another chance to shine.

Im glad he got dropped, he should go somewhere where he can show everyone how good he really is, hes got the speed, vision, quickness, and can start on many nba teams..I think its better if he goes to a Western Conference team because if he goes to anywhere close to NY hes gna get in more trouble with the Law.

In one way this is sad. This kid was touted to be one of the best HS basketball players of that year, SLAM covers with LeBron, Jay-Z at his games…but I think that overhype killed him. For him to have an alright season was unacceptable, especially how everyone was talking. He should’ve went to Memphis for a year or two. This will be used as the definitive case of “Why The One Year College Rule Exists” so individuals like him don’t get caught in situations like this. Homeboy is talented, but the NBA is only going to give him few chances. I hope he gets it together…

What a dumbass, does he have any prior felonies?? If not why don’t this nigga just get him a gun permit so he can carry his heat around for protection without catching a charge. Being an NBA player, and wanting to stay around your old hood I’d advise you stay strapped legally unless you want bodyguards.

As a Celtics fan and season ticket holder this is bullshit. This is the reason why Boston always fails to bring in premier free agents or players through trades.. Ownership is terrible. They do not have the players backs. I could see if he was in shoot out or something but he got caught driving with it under his seat.. How hard would it be for Wyc to say “We are waiting for the facts to come out and believe Sebastian will be acquited?” This is probably coming at the wrong time when shootings are up in Boston and its all over the media but still a very bad move on the Celts part.. They could have at least waited till shit got sorted out.

He got caught with a gun when he played for the blazers also. He tryed to take it on the team plane and got caught. He said he didn’t know it was in his bag. It was registered to his girlfriend. At least he gets his money, they just can’t drop you. Celtics got to pay up.

He was a victim of DWB.Dude probably got a shiny S500 with 22s and the “tail light is out” I gotta knock on wood, but i have never been asked to get out of my car. The shit happens all over the place though. I got stopped in Ohio for having expired plates on my vehicle. They were Illinois plates and it was a rental car. How the fuck they gon be expired? What did i do that he had to run my plates anyway? I was coming out of sonic. Hell i pulled over before he could even put his lights on. I knew he was running them and i wanted to show his dumb ass up. He thought he had one.

^^^ Dude still had to work out for NBA scouts and all that. Say what you want to say, but give him time. Maybe he’ll pan out. He got Adidas deals and all that too. So they put all of this into nothing huh? give it time. Think Jermaine O’neal or Rashard Lewis. He wasnt Jermaine O’Neal until he went to the pacers.
