Offical Suns(2) Vs Lakers(0) Round 1 Post: Revenge or DeJa Vu?
Judging from what I am seeing in the first game, this could be the series to watch. Lets not forget what happened last year. But lets not also forget Stoudemire wasn’t there last year. Can Kobe carry his team out of the first round or face the same fate as last year?
Game 1:Suns:95 Lakers:87
Lakers lose despite Kobe dropping 39 points and the Lakers having control in the first half. Barbosa’s 26 points of the bench was a key reason the Suns came out with the victory.
Game 2: Suns 126, Lakers 98, THEY GOT MURDERED

yeah they are almost the same height. kobe is listed as 6-7 but really hes 6-4 and nash is probably 6-2.
and if shaq was back with the lakers and kobe at his prime then they would beat any team out there.

kobe is 6′6″ or 6′7″ I think the picture is taken at a weird angle. The lakers only had 13 assist as a team and Kobe had 1. Thats a problem

kobe was on fire in the 1st half but i knew he’d cool off, and he sure as hell did. but somebody guard barbosa, he was lighting them niggas up LOL

Kobe started to become Kobe in the 2nd half…jacking up ugly ass shots because he doesn’t trust who he has around him. Some of those shots were ugly. He can’t save that squad by himself. I think the next closest scorer was Odom…plus they need a better PG

The problem was Kobe wasn’t hitting his shots in the 4th quarter and instead of passing the ball he kept trying to force it.. the rest of the Lakers need to take charge at times like those and make some damn baskets.. and man I fucking hate when they don’t guard a person on the 3 point line and they all just stand there and watch them hoist up a shot.. GUARD THE MOTHERFUCKER!!! And man the Lakers need to be more active on the boards and fight for offensive rebounds and block out on the defensive ones.. pisses me off watching them stand around while Phoenix shows more hustle and gets the ball… aarghh.. hopefully Game 2 is a better finish.

kobes team mates need to hit open shots if you on the lakers the only thing you have to do is stand there and hit a damn jump shot beacuse their gona double and triple team him b/c hes the best player in the nba how did they blow a 10 point lead they had the whole game damn i could play for the lakers just hit open jumpers when he passes from the double team

Man the Lakers are mediocre for real, if anybody think they will beat the suns are idiots. I mean Kobe is nice but the suns are one of the best teams right now, they are number one at shooting stats and they are a shooting team! I thought it was funny how the lakers would be up 10, 12 points and in like 2 or 3 minutes the lakers are up 2 or 3. Bottom line is Lakers are a one man team and the suns are a team. Take some time to marinate on that.

I used to like the lakers……….. i think the Suns got it this year. Even over my Mavs, the only way to beat them is to get Marion, Nash, Barbosa, Amare, and that kid Kobe dont know in foul trouble. He was looking like he made a big mistake signing that deal a while back. Shoulda went somewhere else.
But it goes to show you that you can get another Kobe (LeBron, Wade, Pierce…..) but you can’t get another Shaq. You can put shaq with a decent guard and they will make noise. You put a good guard with a shitty center and they are the lakers. Had Kobe shut his mouth and not snitched on Shaq the Lakers may be worth talking about. Who remembers when Rudy T was coaching there?
