I’m from the westside of chicago. It takes 3 train stops and i’m at the UC. He was good, but not the greatest. Imagine Jordan without Scottie. I can ………. Clyde Drexler or Nique at best. Supporting cast plays a great role. Other than Jerry west who did Wilt have? EXXXXXACTLY. and he was still killing. Teams tripled him and he was still putting up 50. He averaged 48.5 minutes for a SEASON. Grabbed 55 rebounds in a game against Boston one time. GO do some homework on Chamberlain and come back and tell me that the numbers he was putting up compared to what Jordan was putting up dont make him the greatest. Hell his worst season would get him a max contract right now. God rest the KING.

To the 12 year old that had to look up the name Elgin Baylor……. i know who he is…. had the jersey. But chamberlain go there in the 70s? Aside from the fact that when he got there the Lakers were 2nd from last in the division and he helped them to a 33 straight winning streak and averaged no less than i think 17 rebounds for his playoff and regular season career, my point was there was not a lot of talent around him in his prime. jordan had a solid 5 as well as a decent coaching staff. Wilt was the 76ers and the Warriors. He was to the 72 Lakers what Rodman was to the Bulls when he was there.

And then to make your elgin baylor argument even more fucked up, they didnt play that many games together. So yeah i heard of Baylor, but them 2 together then was like Barkley and Olajuwan playing on the same team.

But again i am sorry that the young cats have to challenge my opinion. I live in chicago born and raised. I like the Mavs, Steelers and the WhiteSox. It’s not to say that i dont appreciate and like what Jordan did, you just have to look at the big picture.

ive actually sat down and watched an entire wilt chamberlain game, and thats exactly what it was, a wilt chamberlain game. the shit was mad boring. he was 7′1 and the next tallest person was some 6′7 white dude wit no hops. he was nice, but if he played in mike’s era hakeem olajuwon would have beat his shit off the glass b. wilt wasnt the greatest. his numbers were great, but if u sit down and watch a whole game he played in, u would see he was just too tall for everyone else. if shaq would have been around in the 60’s and 70’s, his numbers probably would’ve been even better

#37 just touched on one thing i said. the shoe thing. #34 was written by me as well. You cant come from chicago and not APPRECIATE what the bulls did. I guess the stories of him hating the triangle and slapping steve kerr did not reach you.

@ homie that was saying that it was only 6 foot 7 dudes around him………… There was an NBA player names Seuade Hallbrook. he was a 7 foot 3 white cat. Never averaged 10 points a game. This would discredit what Kareem did if you gotta pick on 7 footers for being tall. His size helped him a lot yes, but like i said there was a season where he averaged 48.5 minutes a game. remember it’s only 48 minutes in a game still. He scored 100 with no shot clock. he averaged 50.4 one season. However the fuck you look at it this was hard to do. Yall couldnt average 50 points a game if yall was playing 8th graders. He had no Scottie, no Rodamn, No Horace, No Bison Dele…….lol. And then go do that sht he was doing in some CANVAS CHUCKS. Not some leather designed for my foot air sole jordans. Some 12.99 chucks.
