Hmmzz.. This whole Hip Hop debate is getting old.. They you cant ban the word nigga.. Bitch… or Hoe.. Its impossible.. Ima gonna say those words to the day I die.. N before anyone judges I know when and where its may be appropriate to use these words.. I wouldnt use it in the work place or in an academic settings but when Im with my friends.. I will be using these words.. And What Canda was sayin was true.. You got middle class kids who have never went hungry afraid to be themselves.. You got them feelin like they gotta be tough in order to be accepted.. being real has nothin to do with being tough. Its about being real.. I dunno man.. I can go on and on.. THey need to stop pointin the finger at hip hop only.. They need to look at society as a whole.. Hip Hop is just a symptom of a bigger problem.. And by no means am I sayin Hip Hop is the enemy..

but on a real note.

there is real true hip hop; that tells a story of what is goin on in our society. from environmental issues, political issues, hood issues and jus everyday love and hate.
artists like mos def, talib, lupe, nas, common, jay-z and a select few accurately represent hip hop with their music.

then we have the 50cents of the rap game. the mind numbing southern artists and gangsta rappers, that portray hip hop in a negative way.
we need to seperate the two instead of bashing hip hop as a whole.

when imus said that nappy headed ho shit, they didnt bash the whole radio show and network, they fired the muthafucker and got on with it.
if it is a problem with rap, note the rapper who says this wild shit, not the whole community.

the thing is, these people attacking hip hop only hear a small portion of it. they hear the bullshit that the labels put out for the sole reason of profit.
they dont hear the politicaly based and accurate social reflections in the music of alot of true rappers.
they are making statements off of very little intelligence.

these true hip hop artists should come together, defend their craft against all this damn attacking.
they need to point the finger at the true culprits.
the labels.

im pretty sure, alot of rappers have songs that are true hip hop. but the labels are looking for a certain thing. they want what they want, and these rappers want to eat so they do what will get them money.

back in the days they would go on an on about how rock was “destroying the world”..rember elvis??? moms went ape on him for swinging his hips.

its funny no one blames the labels…they put it out..they got the final say ..the “man” runs the radio….tv..media…music industries…movies..etc etc…but yet its lil waynes fault s@#$t is all fucked up.its 50s fualt kids getting shot ….its jezzeys fault pepole sell drugs……not the C.I.A bringing in crack or the lack of opurtunities in the inner city ..or the lack of jobs because uncle sam lets coporations go over sea for jobs that we could be doing here(but hey at least the stocks are going up)..nope its rap faults!!! damm them!!! its the guys at the bottom thier to blame!! how dare they!! hahahah yuno? its almost funny if you think of it.

Lets keep it real, most people dont snitch because they are worried about their own safety. I’m sorry but i can’t depend on the police to protect me, the last time i called the police they never came. True story. Another true story, years ago a guy called the cops to stop a fight he’d seen across the street between a group of young men. He told the police not to come to his house. The police came to his home anyway, and knocked on his door. As soon as the po po left one of the young men knocked on the gentleman’s door, when he opened the door he shot him. That man will never snitch again, because he’s dead. true story. Its an issue of safety. period. And what about the cops they have a code of silence within the force, nobody’s questioning that. ——— sure rap music has its issues, but that interview is just another attempt ostracize hip hop. Please, don’t believe the hype. p.s. cameron, please, no more interviews.

FORGET THE STREETS THESE ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO KILL PEOPLE OVER A 25 CENTZ OR STEPPING ON THEY SHOES SAME DUDES THAT WOULD ROBB ANOTHER POOR PERSON IN THE SAME HOOD. The lines of snitchin are getting blurred just like the guy in the second interview said. Doing what’s right ain’t snithcin…..snitchin is if you in tha game (being the drug game, rob, anything illegal) and you tell the police on someone else in the game. What’s happening is rappers have the stop snitchin campaigns and it gets generalized for our society to where people believe snitchin is anyone talkin to the police. But Russell is right, and i personally have no problem with artist and the radio stations and TV stations removing the profanity and the words bitch and ho from radio and tv, and leave it on the parent advisory albums for people to hear. It will help the parents to supervise and guide their kids and shut these muthafuckas up who complain about rap.
