Snoop Dogg On Oprah A Good Idea?

“I’m a fan of Oprah,” he said. “I love what she does. I feel like whatever they’re saying about me, negative or positive, I appreciate it. I thank you, Oprah. I’m Snoop Dogg — you can’t [badmouth] me because I do so much right and I’m the person who represents me the best”

Snoop said he’s open to sitting down with Oprah in the future. “Snoop Dogg is a father, he’s a coach, he’s a teacher,” he explained. “I’m a man, and I do make mistakes and I’m willing to listen and learn. But a lot of times, they don’t know me, so they have to speak on what they feel. But it is what it is. I appreciate you, Oprah. I’ve never been on your show, so thank you for bringing my name up on your show. I’m sure that’ll mean another million record sales. Thank you.”

Full Story

I think if Snoop Dogg goes on Oprah it will be over him. She will unleash an angry audience on him and show his worst moments with women in no clothes and him smoking. If Snoop Dogg goes on, he better be well prepared and bring a lawyer.

snoop doggg is a well spoken rapper.
i feel as thought if he goes on there it will be okay, because oprah wont be as aggressive, given the fact that rappers have accused her of being an “uncle tom” talk show host.
she will speak her mind and so will snoop but i think it will be a civil discussion.

i hope he goes on there.

  2. papavb Says:

I think he should do a sit down, but not in front of the audience. Oprah has a knack for saying sensational things, getting the crowd rowdy.

Going on there like russell and them did would be suicide.

  3. C.A.S.H. Says:

yeah, i agree with the first person to comment, contrary to what snoop raps, that dude is real smart. He had more of a backlash when he first hit the rap scene. They will show all the negative things he has done, but he’ll throw the positive things right back at em and I’m pretty sure if not gain some fans, atleast their respect to respect him and others for the art they create.

Snoop’s ass is still getting arrested for dumbshit..at the age of 35…stay the ffiizzzuuuucck away from Oprah and her show…maybe sit in the audience or some stuff like that if he just wants publicity for his music if nothing else..but as a guest?? Hell no…They almost got Russell and nem…lol now 50-CENT could do it…he is more relevant as to relate is message of the streets..but SNOOP HAD BITCHES>>ON LEASHES….lol he already lost ONCE HE GAVE UP PROMOTING THE “G-gansta side” of his musical experience in EXCHANGE FOR BEING PIMP-HUSTLA SIDE. remeber SNOOP HAD HIS BITCHES ON LEASHES!!!…he lost..what if tere was a white exec rapper with gangsta and pimpin rappers on leashes at the music awards??But i think they are already saying that…Balck people like drama!!!that shit sellss..and the rest of the world likes to watch us trip shit they will even trip with us!!!UNTIL U COMPETING FOR THAT SAME JOB AT PROMOTION TIME…THINK IM TRIPPIN THIN ABOUT IT..
    DETROIT ONE

  5. Yuu serious?! Says:

    i really don’t know..

i think its a set up….well not a set up but i think if he goes they still wouldn’t bother to reason with him..oprah will just keep bringing up his criminal records and all his other issues..but at the same time i feel like snoop is going to go on her show..

i just dnt think it’s gonna go well

  6. Hmmm Says:

If Snoop goes on there…he better bring Jay-Z and Ludacris. I’m sure Snoop would be ok. Oprah can’t interrogate him worse than cops have done to him in the past, so he’ll be use to the pressure.

  7. RealTalkCA Says:

snoops got alot of good to talk bout, he can talk bout the youth football league that he created and coaches in….i mean i hope oprah doesnt bash on him for blazin all the time, i doubt she would do that if it were bob marley or jimi hendrix on the show….

  8. HuslleHard Says:

I think y’all missing the point people, this Oprah..
The same Oprah that made Luda look like a ass, by editing and cutting his comments, the same Oprah who clearly states that she don’t like hip-hop (but loves to lean&roc wit it)
Don’t get me wrong, i love Oprah, but she doesn’t love hip hop, she should just say that and people should get over it. That’s her opinion, get over it.
Sending snoop in there would be a suicide, what can snoop possibly acomplish that Russel and em dind’t.
If we want to send somebody, send Jay-z and Luda, and make Snoop and a couple of other rappers sit in the audiance for the hip hop side, that would be interesting.

  9. Turd Ferguson Says:

Snoop in there would be ok. he is on both sides. doing positive shit in the community, and rapping about weed and hanging out with well known ex chicago pimps. You can’t change what’s in a person’ heart. Snoop would be perfect. Hell Oprah can get anybody she wants.

  10. gotti Says:

the dogg need to grow up
he used to the coolest cat in the game whilest with dre and deathrow
now he is doing trash music and stupid things for a man of his age and standards. used to have mad respect (still).
have to say of the 90’s rappers, jay-z is probarly the smartes one and doing mature things is the real hu,stla roc na mean. all of others cats still searching for their innerself. either washed up or broke. at a certain age you ought to do grown man shit. still sanoop is great tho.

  11. opraz wizzle Says:

she is one crazy bitch but snoop is smooth he can handle it but if she unleashes her mutt dr. phill snoop needs to toke up more before the show
