Rap Music Is Enslaving Our Kids???, Called, “Verbal Toxic Waste”

Damn some strong words, “verbal toxic waste.” I mean rap has it’s negative side but what doesn’t and he went over board. Rap music doesn’t cause poverty and poor school systems. If you all of a sudden stop rap music from being made, do you really think crime would decrease? If people really care about the poor conditions in these neighborhoods why don’t they look at all the issues and not just music. Why are people acting like the negative stereotype about snithing is a black thing. All races have criminals, all those criminals hate snitches.

i have a feeling that congress is gonna pass a law banning hip-hop/rap music.
    the end is near.
    get reaady

  2. devond Says:

yeah fucing right no way in hell america will abolish first admendment i think that this is another way of bring hip hop back they act like hip hop aint been saying fuck the police we aint changed shout out to nwa ice t the whole west coast this shit might save hip hop because now they gonna wanna hear us speak again

  3. wow Says:

devond you do have a point but you must remember that freedom of speech is limited in america. and i think the dom imus situation prove it.

  4. XLPE Says:

STOP ALL THE NEGATIVITY IN ALL MUSIC ESPECIALLY HIP HOP. TRUE, CAM’RON TALKS TOXIX WASTE. HE AND OTHERS ARE NEGATIVELY INFLUENCING RAP. RAP IS THE FATHER TO FATHERLESS BLACK CHILDREN. THESE CHILDREN LOOK TO THE RAPPER AS A ROLE MODEL AND IF THEY TELL KIDS SNITCHES GET STICHES, KIDS BELIEVE THIS WHEN IT COMES FROM THEIR RICH AND POPULAR HEROE.

  5. SunDuke Says:

I have a feeling that all of this is going to lead to some society like in the book “Anthem” where everyone is stripped of freedom and they have numbers for names…

Anyway he was bashin on hip-hop and he threw a few shots at environmentalist callin them “freaks” just because they tryin to save the planet. He said rap would kill before bad air and that that should be goten rid of first but we still are gonna have to take care of the environment… Dont blame Hip-Hop for Polution lol

  6. DAIEN Says:

    this aint news
its been goin on ever since 92

  7. papavb Says:

you guys know this guy is a fucking dupe right? Glenn Beck is like bill o’reilly, nancy grace etc..

if you remember, he’s the one who called the muslim representative for the 5th district of minnesota a terrorist.
    here’s what he said:

“prove to me that you are not working with our enemies,” saying, “And I know you’re not. I’m not accusing you of being an enemy, but that’s the way I feel, and I think a lot of Americans will feel that way.”

he said all that just because the guy prays with another book, no evidence, nothing, he’s a bigot if you ask me.

  8. Ms.notorious Says:

I Cosign with the white guy! Camron along with other rappers are minstrel coons! With freedom of speech and artistic expression comes responsibility; especially when you have the power to influence masses of people. Camron embodies the true defenition of a “N”. His ignorance is bliss, for him. And with the ignorant comments he made about snitching and his so called “code of ethics”, he pretty much put himself on a pedestal to be criticized.

  9. ya boi Says:

Glen beck is a idiot. he jumps on stuff just to scare white america. This ‘war on hip hop’ is nothing compared to the backlash hip hop saw after ice -t’s ‘cop killer.’ I mean back then you had vice presidents coming out against hip hop. Now-a-days, you have Karl Rove rapping at white house dinners. hip hip isn’t going anywhere.

  10. L-egal Says:

I can not believe it!!!!!!!!A white man talking smack about rap music :o !!!!!!!!!1!!1!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!!

Seriously though, whilst Cam’ron&Dipset may be clowns, they are not representative of the hiphop movement. This “don’t snitch” business has been here for over 15 years and counting,it’s not hiphop’s fault that white&black kids now find it “cool”,it’s the parents who are too busy kissing their bosses ass to get a promotion who aren’t sitting down and educating their kids enough.

And I like how the idiot tries to use the Virginia Tech massacre to drive his point forward, lol, did Cho listen to Cam’ron before he went and shot 32 people?Did he hum “We Fly High” while he reloaded his pistol?

Jesus,I sometimes wonder what if White people pulled out their Michael Bolton cd and threw in some Common,Dead Prez,Talib Kweli etc, would they still think every single hiphop song is verbal toxic waste?

  11. Ciara Says:

In response to: Why are people acting like the negative stereotype about snithing is a black thing. All races have criminals, all those criminals hate snitches.

…because we are the only group of people who publicly talk about this, use it for monetary advancement and pimp the industry with it. DVDs, T-Shirts, Songs. Rappers talk about snitching all the damn time. They are consequences for airing our communities “dirty laundry” and this is it…

  12. Ciara Says:

And no one has mentioned that Al Sharpton was on there trying to act like he cares about this. The only reason why he’s even doing this shit is because EVERYONE has been putting his ass to the fire about not giving a shit about what’s going on until White people get involved. Al Sharpton needs to go somewhere, his time is up…

  13. T Baby Says:

“…one that i never heard before, snitches get stitches…”

    hahahaha

    white dudes crack me up.

they always have to blame someone for something.

and he has the damn nerve to be talking about slave trading and shit.

rap doesnt cause poverty and crime.
rap is a product of poverty and crime.

but muthafuckers always wanna point the finger and label someone the bad guy.

in my opinion, the bad guy is the labels.
not cam’ron, but the label that releases his cd.

  14. Anonymous Says:

  15. GT Says:

SADLY HE IS 90% RIGHT. YOUR A FOOL TO THINK NEGATIVE RAP DONT AFFECT OUR YOUNG KIDS!!!!, THIS WORLD HAS ALOT OF PROBLEMS AND ALL CANT BE BLAME ON NEGATIVE RAP MUSIC, BUT THE MUSIC PROMOTES DRUGS, SEX AND OTHER DESTRUCTIVE ELEMENTS TO OUR BLACK RACE

  16. yer Says:

its all just free publicity 4 rap. all publicity is gd publicity

  17. Westside Says:

Camron is a coon setting black people back hundreds of years. All of you idiots defending Camron and rappers like him are just as big of coons.

  18. Ms Meka Says:

Speak that knowledge L-egal & Ciara…my only point on this topic is what about HARD ROCK???
How come no one says anything about that music they got some crazy lyrics…
How did we let Imus turn his situation around on us?
    Damn, damn, damn!

  19. Chris Rock Says:

This guy should be shot. He is doing more damage than anything else. Just the way he talks, the lies he says and the words he chooses. Why doesn’t he talk about the poverty level in the US? And why the US is destroying, I mean helping, other countries when their back yard is the first place that needs serious help? Why isn’t he asking people why things like VTech happen? And why they only happen (90% of the times, if not more) in the US?

I don’t think Cam was right. But at the same time, this retard on this show knows he’s not being honest. Fuck him. There are worse problems in the US than Camron saying he wouldn’t snitch. These things are just destractions…

  20. Ms Meka Says:

@Westside What’s with the coon’s comments? Cameron is ignorant but so are you (and anyone else) if you think he speaks for all and to call him a coon who’s setting who back. I don’t know about you but I feel Cameron is in a league of his own so to compare him to other rappers is another mistake. Why do you think they chose Cameron in the first place who else could do such damage? Nobody, like someone else said Cameron lives in a fantasy world so who ever thinks he spoke for or on behalf of hip hop must live in that fantasy world with him.
I just anit feeling nobody being called a coon…wtf

^^^^^^ I don’t agree. I’ve talked about this with other people before.
I grew up (I’m probably older than most of you) listening to Geto Boys, NWA, Too Short, etc when I was in my mid teens. Go listen to their lyrics. I didn’t grow up to be a drug dealer, a pimp or someone who shoots the cops, etc…..the music doesn’t effect you as much as they say if you have someone teaching you what’s right and what’s wrong. Where are people’s parents? They should be teaching their kids how to act and behave in life. They should be the real influences, not a fuckin rapper or a ball player!! Grow up! Just cause someone raps about killing someone, does that mean I can go do it? And if I do do it, is the rapper to blame? Or should I be blamed for being an idiot? Wouldn’t the real problem be that nobody taught me any better? Think about it….

  22. Turd Ferguson Says:

Too many “others” grilling out their mouths and doing black people things. I knew it was all over when 3-6 got an Oscar before Scorsese.
Hip hp is on the outs. All we got now is: Dance instructions or shitty hooks or diss songs. And if we are blessed with some “real talk” it is usually an old artist that appears out of place due to the state of hip hop now.

Hip Hop is an art form any way you look at it. It is too many black people getting too much money living out their dreams. You got supposedly ex dope dealers in commercials with Don Shula. Or Sons of shitty rappers that owns a city block in Nawlins who’s son had his own house at 13. Master P sucked as a Rapper, but as a business man you gotta give props. I heard in his record deal he was getting 85% of what he did. Brothas are getting too smart in this music game. THe damage is done though. It cant be stopped.

  23. Chris Rock Says:

    Ms Meka

I agree…..why didn’t they call Nas? KRS? etc…..these people (Fox) know exactly what they’re doing. I’m surprised they called M1.

^^^^^^^^^ In response, IM 30 YRS OLD AND LISTENED TO ALL THOSE RAPPERS THAT YOU NAMED AND MORE. THE MAIN DIFFIERENCE FROM THOSE TIMES AND NOW, IS THAT BACK THEN RAP MUSIC DID NOT SATURATE THE MEDIA, THE HOMES, THE SCHOOLS, THE COMMUNITY AS IT IS NOW, HEARING THOSE THINGS DID NOT INFLUENCE ME BECAUSE I HAD A BALANCE OF ETHICS FROM MY PARENTS AND COMMUNITY(LIBERTY CITY MIAMI). BUT NOW, THE RAP MUSIC THAT WE HEAR HAS SUCH AN INFULENCE ON WHAT PEOPLE THINK (INCLUDING THE PRESENT ADULT GENERATION), THAT IT BREAKS DOWN WHATEVER MORALS ONE HAS…THINK ABOUT IT….IF YOUR TOLD THAT DRUGS, VIOLENCE, SEX AND CHEATING IS THE WAY TO BE HAPPY…WHAT WOULD U DO.

  25. educatedblacklady Says:

I GOTTA AGREE WITH GT, THE MUSIC IS A STRONG INFLUENCE IN OUR ENVIRONMENT, AND THE RAPPERS TODAY ONLY THINK ABOUT MAKING MORE MONEY, SO THEY EXPLOIT SEX, DRUGS, AND EVERY OTHER IMMORAL THING THAT SELLS. IT COMES A POINT WHEN EVEN THE PARENTS DONT HAVE THAT STRONG INFLUENCE ANYMORE.

    ALMOST LIKE A VIRUS

  26. beenie Says:

music has influenced generations for years, when hippies had their music, the acted in response to their music, when 80’s punk rock came out, their followers acted like their musicians, why cant it be possible that rap music and its Bulls*it message be influencing their fans?

  27. Turd Ferguson Says:

@ comment 24……….. I dont know what hood you are from but when i was younger (just made 30) all we listened to was rap. not encouraging illegal DL’ing, but if you can listen to a song by the geto boys caled “assassins” that shit is crazy even by today’s standards. the problem is white people. I listen to a rap song for the beats. I heard the B word so much that I’m jaded. The problem again is white people. THEIR communities are being saturated with ignorant ass Chain hang low, shoulda lean ass crap music. 50 cent, dem franchise boys. Lil Wayne, and all that other shit. I am not singling out all white people cause i love some of yall. and i got friends that know the difference between shitty rap (as mentioned above) and shit that sounds good and makes sense. It seems as though Nas albums and De La Soul and Common albums are not hitting those suburban communities. They just buying the bullshit cause that’s what MTV is playing.

  28. Stick2daScript Says:

I have to agree with GT and #25. The music has a very powerful influence, although parenting plays a big role, but what about the parents that take all of the necessary precautions to raise their kids to go in the right direction, and the kids still go astray!
How do you blame these parents? We must face it! These artists have become the new leaders of our communities and their leading our kids down a road of self destruction!!!

NOT ALL ARTISTS, BUT THOSE THAT ARE.

  29. jersey nigga Says:

RIGHT THERE YOU CAN SEE HOW DUMB CAMRON IS, BUT NO MATTER WHAT, RAPPERS ARE NOT THESE CHILDRENS PARENTS, AND YOU ALWAYS KNOW WHEN YOU DO SOMETHING NEGATIVE THEY WILL USE THAT TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF. I DONT HEAR THEM TALKING ABOUT ROCK AND ROLL WHEN THESE WHITE KIDS LOOSE THEY DAMN MIND OFF OF THE MUSIC AND ITS FUNNY REPORTERS DONT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THESE RAPPERS BUT THEY TALK LIKE THEY KNEW ABOUT THEM FOR YEARS ITS JUST LIKE THE NEWS WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS THEY NOT GONNA TALK TO A POSITIVE LOOKING BLACK MAN NO THEY GONNA TALK TO THE CRACK HEAD WITH A AIR CONDITIONER INSIDE A SHOPPING CART JUST TO SHOW HOW TO DIS BLACKS

  30. Chris Rock Says:

What are you saying?!?! (@24, 25, etc) It is not JUST the music. Not at all. Please wake up and look at the big picture. The picture that started in the 70s and 80s!! I could write for an hour and it still wouldn’t be enough. Whoever is in their 30s doesn’t (and didn’t) let the music and rappers influence them because our parents grew up in a different era which made them strong enough to teach us the right things and were strong enough to be influential!!

Today kids get influenced by music because their parents don’t teach them enough, are not strong enough, don’t have any control. And this happens for a bunch of reasons caused by the world we live in today, which was created by white corporate and political america exactly for this reason!! To slowly destroy certain races (minorities) and certain classes (poor/low income).

People in their 60s and older, grew up in a time where there was more self respect and a lot less TV, less movies, less drugs, less alcohol, less open sex everywhere, less negativity all together. People don’t understand that all that shit fogs up your vision and kills the mind. All those distractions have been multiplied (purposely) by a million today. If you make people stupid they will only be able to raise stupid people.

Why are universities so expensive?! So poor people can’t afford to go and so they will never get good jobs and they will always stay poor!!

It’s a very long discussion….but trust me, drugs, ghettos, violence, poverty, alcohol, etc exist for a specific reason. This way of thinking is not due to crazy conspiracy theories, like they make you believe. It’s the truth.

Anyway, just be awake and use your mind. Turn off the TVs and spend some time thinking about how to better yourself, and not just financially.

  31. Chris Rock Says:

THEY GONNA TALK TO THE CRACK HEAD WITH A AIR CONDITIONER INSIDE A SHOPPING CART JUST TO SHOW HOW TO DIS BLACKS

    hahahaha…..
