  1. GLOCK Says:

theres an issue with the audio, ,maybe its me speakers, but It’s barely hearable on max volume.

  2. Ten Says:

Somethin tells me he would hold his own against Oprah’s anti-hip hop panel.

  3. candy Says:

    I love him!

  4. papavb Says:

yeah it seems like he would, it seems like people on that panel had to play nice with Oprah in order to not get booed off. It was not the place to hold such a controversial debate since the crowd is on her invisible leash.

They should’ve had people like Nas Hov or Lupe Chamillionaire etc… on there to defend the other side.

  5. ok lets get serious Says:

@ papavb: u are on point there but that just tells me i am not going to listen to just any rapper. what happened to the conscious m.c.? Nas, Lupe , Chamillinaire etc are right on point just like the old school cats did. Poetry is a beautiful thing. Let’s buy that. Lets play that on the radios and at the parties.

  6. ok lets get serious Says:

Snoop is definately intelligent. The truth is in the fact that hip-hop curse words are about black ppl criticizing black ppl in order to uplift and move to a higher plateau. Its not about black ppl degrading white females. Got it? That’s where Imus got it wrong. He didnt focus on his race. What about the Girls gone wild chicks? Got it??

  7. whole story Says:

People like Opera need to get the whole story. Pac explained the difference in an interview over a decade ago. I’m glad Snoop took the time to re explain it. There is a big difference between song like dear mama and a song like wonda why they call u b*tch. All the women on the Opera show had a lot of class and rappers have the utmost respect for them, but they need to go hit up a club and then they will see why some women are called hos.

  8. REALLY Says:

    @ ok lets get serious

your not being serious are you?
all that “poetry” stuff sounds good, but we’re in the business of “entertainment” and “money”.
And conscious does not equal either… sorry.

  9. Black Power Says:

Rap is not the first genre of music to use these words and phrases… rap did not invent these words and phrases. They just single rappers out because they are an easy target. The people that needed to be on Oprah though are all the record company owners, all the radio companies who don’t play an even balance of hip hop on the radio…they not playing Nas like they do Snoop, they don’t market and promote Common’s and Kanye’s music like they do Ludacris and Nelly’s I like all of hip-hop and I respect each artist in his own right, I don’t think anyone should be restricted for what they say…however as long as they can bag up what they say then that’s on them…obviously Imus couldn’t do that and that’s why he’s out of a job so now he wants to blame somebody else, you can’t blame someone else for what comes out of your mouth, you said it now be accountable for it and stop being a coward!!! That goes for Imus and whoever else!

  10. SouthernWeezyFan Says:

    thats right BLACK POWER.

It seems like white people dont understand I believe its the white kids that wanna be cool and listen to hip hop, there parents are getting mad about it and is blaming hip hop.

  11. Miss. Official Says:

I just want to say big ups to Snoop. His response to this whole situation was probably one of the most intelligent I’ve heard.

  12. EmM HoLLa.. Says:

Id have to Co-Sign Miss Official. While watchin the Oprah show I wanted common or Russell to make the distinction between what we call bitches and hoes and real women in the world.. No one did.. Snoop made that distinction.. And I agree with him 100%. He is in the hood and is in the music so he knows.. All these people talkin are not in the hood and did not grow up there or havent lived there in over a decade so they do not know wassup..

  13. G-MONEY Says:

fuck anybody trying to ban Hip-Hop!!!

  14. piffpusher Says:

snoop iz a true g,u could tell he waz pissed at opera, that show would have been different if snoop waz on it

  15. SouthernWeezyFan Says:

Oprah put all the young MC’S on her show to try and corner them into a situation or question that they wont answer correctly and then dogg on them. She wont have the hip hop legends like Snoop Dogg and Ice cube on there because she nows they will tell the truth because they know what there talking about, Those are the ones she sould of had on the show, But no, she went for the easy targets.

  16. Shinny A Says:

Damn right, she knows whut sue risks, she know that legends like snoop can make her audience change mind and have a better understanding of wuts really goin on. She will never do something like that for sure… Matter fact on this case > is a 150%. He spit the uncontroversal truth. I liked his words. That show this statements, , a player is different from a owner, and im totally agree with that.
Do ya thangz snoop, we got yo back….And its true da
