Nas To Have A, “Where Are They Now,” TV Show and One Man Tour???
Mr. Nasir Jones talked to MTV and had this to say:
“First we wanted to get it out to people and just enjoy it,” he explained. “Now we’re thinking about going in on a TV show to find out where them n—as was at. I wanna see. These muthaf—-s ain’t old to me. And if they are old, that’s nothing to take away from them. Man, these muthaf—s are interesting people. They’re part of the whole foundation. They are the blocks, them big boulders underneath the pretty surfaces. They need to be looked at like that. Even if it’s for a second, let’s be real, you can’t expect all these n—as to drop new albums, but it’s good to see that they still here. They ain’t gotta come out and go platinum, they can do different sh–. It’s just good to show love.”
He also says he is going on a tour called, ‘Nas: One Man, One Mic, One Night.”

The, “Where Are They Now,” remixes was cool but I don’t want to see music videos for them. A TV show has a chance, but I don’t know how the ratings would be, the youth today have no sense of history.

damn man, nas has been touring his ass off ever since hip hop is dead came out…im glad to see he’s got that fire still in him to satisfy his fans…the remixes were hot man, i duno what you’re talking about…i would loveeeee to see videos for them, it could really give us generation y kids a visual perspective of the old…even if most of the youth have no sense of history, there still are those out there (like me) who are open minded and want to see the forefathers of our livlihood…i say go ahead with the tour nas, bury rap and bring hip hop back…peace
