Movement To Have The N Word Banned For Black History Month & Beyond

Hip Hop pioneer Kurtis Blow is asking the Hip Hop community to abandon the N-word for at least Black History month. New York’s city council and Capitol Hill have people trying to have the word banned from use. There is even a website, AbolishTheNWord.com, dedicated on stopping the usage of the notorious word. This is for all races, including African American’s to stop using the word. How do you guys feel about this movement, are people over reacting or is it time for a change. The founder of the site, Jill Merrit states:

“The use of the N-word probably pales in the face of so many other ills, but our fight is simply not against a word _ it is a war that we are waging against a mentality that continues within the African-American community, to accept less.”

My thing is hip is not to blame for people using the N-word. What Kramer said was way over the line. Forget he called them niggas the thing that pissed me off was the hanging them with a fork in their ass was racist period. Its like the black leaders look at hip hop and say theres the blame, they use it so white people will use it and its their fault.

If they want people to stop using the N-word just stop on your own but you cant force everyone to just stop and hip hop is not to blame.
