Busta Rhymes Feels No Guilt Over His Body Guard’s Death
The family of Busta Rhymes’ slained body guard spoke with the New York Daily news and had this to say:
“I think he should have spoken to investigators, but we can’t impose our will on him,” she said. “Now I guess he has to live with himself and remember how he treated a friend.” Source
Busta Rhymes, in a way, repsonded to these comments during his interview with MTV UK:
“I doesn’t hurt me (what the family say) because I don’t live with guilt. I didn’t do nothing. I didn’t contribute to that negative (in any) shape or form.” Source
I think this whole situation put a black eye on the Hip Hop game. More than likley, Busta knows exactly who did it, but remains silent due to the code of the streets.

I’ve lost all kinds of respect for Busta.. if not completely all of it.
Heaven will not be open for a man who knows the identity of his friend’s killer and will do a thing to help bring him to justice..
There are bigger things in life (without saying) than the code of the street or any of that bullshit.

yo. i think it’s sad when someone who can help a person they once called friend, and they don’t. most people don’t like the police, but to know something/anything about what happened and not help is a shame. and thats one of those things that will stay in a persons conscience for a long time.

Who are me, you, or them to judge. Whoever is responsible will get their just due. It is a no win situation. Telling wont bring Mr. Ramirez back and you need more than just to tell, you need evidence. If the police would do their work, instead of asking those they help to intimidate daily, to do their work for them, this would’nt even be an issue. I just wish the Hip Hop community will wake up and see that this is divide and conquer all over again!! I ask myself if Busta is to feel guilty and not rest at night, shouldnt the perpetrator feel the same or worse? If he can sleep at night then surely Busta can!

Do guys you know what snitching is?
Snitching is if a crime is commited and you had a hand in doing it and you and your parner/parners get catched and you put all the blame on them to get free,etc.

I dont know about the rest of you but for those who have had police contact know that the witness can be made to feel like the perpetrator in a heartbeat. Then the witness’ credibility gets questioned and so on. In the end the witness has to move their family, not always out of safety, but out of ridicule because those same officers that they helped, have now exposed them to their neighbors as being police friendly, friendly to those who have in many cases wrongly incarcerated their brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters and/or violated their rights in some form or manner. Who snitched about that!!!! A crime is a crime isnt it?

That’s the most ignorant stuff i’ve heard. Busta is so far removed from the streets he purports to currently be in, that it shouldnt matter however, he’s afraid to tarnish his image because we all know image is everything in this rap game. Lets be for real the ones who are making the money are not living the lifestyle of the average person in the hood. So Busta is part of the problem because he’s not part of the solution. The problem is rampant amongst the urban communities but Busta is the focus right now.
