RealTalkNY Presents: Swizz Beatz Listening Session For, "One Man Band Man"(In stores this spring)
RealTalkNY.net was granted the opportunity to preview the upcoming album from one of the industries most sought after Producers, Swizz Beatz. Swizz Beatz new album, “One Man Band Man, will be releasing sometime this spring. Swizz Beatz has proven himself to be one of the top producers in the game, making hits with Jay-Z, Beyonce, T.I. and has future tracks with Jennifer Lopez, Eve, Brittney Spears and Usher in the works. This time around Swizz has saved some of his beats for himself and has decided to display his lyrical prowess. The album will not be completely produced by Swizz, he said he wanted to give other producers a chance to shine and played a fire beat JustBlaze made for the album. Swizz Beatz said he didn’t want too many features, but people he named to be on the album include, Nas, Ciara, Coldplay, Cassidy, Kanye West, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. Swizz played the songs featuring Cassidy, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Coldplay<RealTalkNY.net>
The intro track for the album is entitled, “Product Man.” Basically a song to let people know he got that product, which in this case would be banging beats. In a song with Cassidy called, “Come and Get Me,” Swizz and Cassidy send out a clear message to the haters. Both challenge all the haters and show they are not going anywhere. Jim Jones and Juelz are featured on the song, “Hood Greezy.” Hot beat, I’m not feeling Jim Jones flow on the beat, but Juelz did his thing. Hip Hop’s popular guest artist, Coldplay, is on a fire track called, “Part of the Plan,” which Swizz talks about in the video. With, “It’s Me Bitches,” set to be the first single, Swizz said his single after that may be, “Big Muuny(named after cartoon character).” In the video below, you hear his idea for making the video.<RealTalkNY.net>
Overall Swizz played six tracks, he stated the album will probably have around 12 songs when its released, he doesn’t want to over do things. Songs sounded hot to me, with the Coldplay song being the highlight. As you would assume, production on the tracks was superb. We will see how good the overall album its when its released this spring. Wikipedia claims Mashonda, T.I., Eve, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Busta Rhymes and DMX are on the album but there are not a reliable source. They also have, “F The Whole Industry,” as a confirmed single with Saigon, AZ, DJ Unk, Cory Gunz and DJ Webstar, but Swizz didn’t say anything about it, so we will see this spring. For now, You can sit in your beamer listening to ether.<RealTalkNY.net>
