What Happen To The Game & Doctor’s Advocate?
A few months ago dude was more cocky than Kanye West. He claimed he was going to sell a million his first week and warned Jay-Z to push his album back. The album was released November 14th and has yet to go platinum with about 790,000 records sold. I have no doubt the album will go platinum very soon, with his next video, “Wouldn’t Get Far,” featuring Kanye West to be released January 31st. But going platinum isn’t enough for a rapper with The Game’s status and comments. It doesn’t look like Doctor’s Advocate will live up to his first album, “The Documentry” which sold 2.3 million records in the U.S. So what is the reason for the lack of sales??? Personally I think he had a horrible choice of singles and I can’t believe he didn’t release, “Why You Hate The Game,” as a single.

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND!!! 50 put a lot of hard work into The Documentary and this nigga Game has 1000 diss songs towards him and G-Unit?…The Game deserves to flop…I agree with u Beans, he is bipolar, which is another reason I dont like him.

i dunno man , i jus dunno wot my feelins r on the game, he is a str8 killa mc no doubt sum fuckin hectic lyrics/beatz etc, but he seems too caught up wiv himself, we all know he loves pac n i guess hes tryin 2 live up to the modern day thuglife but one minute hes dissin the shit outta g-unit 4 fun then the last track on his album hes talkin bout how him n 50 aint beefin “like that”, n even offered 50 2 b on the one blood remix wks b4 the album, but woz quick 2 cover it up wen 50 denied that it was bcuz he was a “funny dude” wen u know he rele wanted 2 squash. Neway all im sayin is, im waitin on them g-unit albums man buck the world n before i self destruct, looks like sum real potential on them wiv the artists n producters involved, i beg it dont disappoint, 50 bring it home son

He disrespected a man who shaped his first album into perfection,now look,he’ll only go platinum.
And remember,Dre get’s 25%,50 gets 25%,the label/lawyers etc get 25%,and he remains with 25%.This means the gayme gets about 250,000 when he gets to platinum status.
Sad,but good.He shouldnt have beefed with 50 Cent,now he learns his lesson the hard way.
And to top it all off,nigga still has to do 3 more albums,hahahaaha,his next one will reach gold,the one after that will do wackass numbers.

i like the new lb. and he sold 1.5 millon world wide.but you forget 50cent has emem fans thats whay he sales 10 millon lps. and most of those fans but in to game first lp.becose 50 was on the hocks.know game is grat rapper. but dont have cathy hocks.

GAME still doing his thing.
Nobody is really selling. The fact that he got 3/4 of a million albums sold, that is still a success in this market.
Jigga barely hit/hitting a million now and he’s the grand show of hiphop..
Usually Jigga would have sold 2mil by now.
Game still on his grind, he had the no.1 album, so how is that a flop?
50s first album sold 11mil worldwide, second album only sold 5mil..
Still a lot of albums, but still a 65% drop off.. that’s huge.
Only other rapper to sell more than game last year is Jay.
No biggy, you gotta be cocky and sure of yourself in this game. Swagger sells. Album is still tight.
In a good year, it would’ve sold 2mil by now.

Somebody done told u wrong! 50 first album sold 11 million worldwide and his second album sold 9.8 million worldwide. Don’t just throw out numbers. Get them facts straight baby. I think 50 is the only east coast artist that can sell over two million records right now, because he has the right audience on his side. WHITE PEOPLE! But I will be buying about six copies of his next release and I’m black. Fuck it, he’s just the MAN!

i dont know what to think about The Game either. I mean he could have put together a beter album than Doctors Advocate with underground shit. Some of the songs are good, but like i read somewheres, it lacks direction without dre. dammit Game, wtf didnt you just make a “Sorry Dre” mixtape instead of bring that shit all over the album? i guess he is bipolar. but no doubt he spits fire, regardless.
