Diddy GETS ROBBED FOR HIS CHAIN!!!

Your Boy got robbed for a chain worth 6 million pounds, which equals more than 11 million dollars when converted(1 pound=1.89 dollars). The chain was stolen from his hotel room while he was vacationing in the island of Ibiza. Diddy has been making a lot of news as of late, getting his girlfriend and possibly another woman pregnant and topping the list for money makers in the music industry beating out Jay-z. While he may be tight about getting robbed he has more than enough money to buy another one, so I can’t feel sorry for the guy. I’m going on eBay now to check how much the chain is going for LOL. Take that Take that…

AllHipHop.com’s Grand Finale Concert was Popping to Say the Least(All Videos Up)

First of all shout out to the men in the above pic, the two men on the side are the co-owners of allhiphop.com. The middle man is DJ Kool Herc, would help started rap. Without them this night would not have been possible. I’ve been to many concerts, from all the big name artist, but I must say this is one of the best events I was able to attend. I got over to the venue at five, since doors open at seven. Unfortunately, as with most concerts, everything was running late and the show started around 8:30p.m. The show started with the usual songs being played by the Dj and the host coming out and doing the usual whose in the house routine.

Then it is was time for the first act, Mr.Grillz aka Paul Wall. He came out doing Drive Slow, with his grillz of course shining. He went through one of his songs and did mainly cameos. To my recollection he performed Sittin Sideways and his verses from Holla at Me Baby, Still Tippin and Grillz and Drive Slow. Then Jae Millz came out and did some songs while Paul was still on stage.

Ok so now the show was finally underway, Paul Wall put up a good performance to get the crowd going. It was time for the next artist which happened to be the Queen of the Bronx, Remy Martin. In an unexpected move she came out dancing instead of rapping. Dancing to Push it, Chicken Noodle Soup and Dutty Wine among other songs(I got the video). Remy Martin made sure to show of her assets bending over and wiggling on various occasions(not like I was complaining). Remy went through her popular songs such as Let me take you home, Whatever and Conceited. She also did a freestyle dedicated to haters and performed her version of the song Hustlin, entitled Everyday I’m…(I’ll keep it PG). Remy showed a lot of energy in her performance and had the crowd with her the whole way through. Females in the crowd especially appreciated her raunchy lyrics, singing a lot of them along with her. Remy Martin definitely delivered and earned her paycheck.

After Remy’s energetic portion of the show, the next rapper was Joe Buddens. He came out doing his old hit Focus. Went on to do pump it up and some other songs. Then when he got to his last song, Dumb Out, He got really into it saying this was real hip hop. He went into the pit right in front of the crowd and was right in front of me, he showed a lot of emotion during the performance, which is key to anyone putting on a good concert. Overall I will say Buddens did a good job at the concert, would of been better if the crowd was more into it.

The next artist up was the self proclaimed savior of New York Hip Hop, Papoose. I feel Papoose delivered the best performance of the night and may have gained some fans. He came out with his crew rolling deep. Papoose came out and did a song and then did his famous alphabet song, I have it recorded in its entirety. Then Papoose shocks the crowd and brings out Chamillionaire and they do the New York remix to riding dirty with Jae Millz. The crowd was going nuts and then Papoose pulls another surprise and brings out Busta and they do the Touch it remix. Needless to say everyone in the crowd was in a frenzy. DJ Kay Slay was also on stage along with a huge trophy Papoose won from the mixtape awards. Busta calmed things down later on to say how Chamillionaire came from all the way from the south to show support an that’s what New York needs, to be supportive of each other. On a sidenote Busta and Chamillionaire chains are rediculous.

After Papoose’s great performance was the Clipse with their crew the re up gang. They did their usual songs, What happen to that boy, Cot Damn, Grindin, and some new songs like Mr Me Too and some songs with the Re Up gang, they gave an ok performance.

Next up was the much anticipated Juelz Santana who did not let his fans down. Juelz had the crowd jumping from as soon as he was visible on stage. He came along with a lil sidekick that seemed to know most of the words to all his songs. His nephew had the swagger of an experienced hypeman. Jim Jones made a surprise appearance during Get Crunk Muzik that had everyone getting crunk. They went through the dip set songs Like Santana’s town and Dipset Anthem, these songs are guaranteed to get any crowd going. The Dip Set performance was definitely appreciated and was one of the high points of the show.

Then it was time for the main act Lloyd Banks. Took a long time to get their portion of the show started because the stage had to be completely evacuated. After a long delay G-Unit made its appearance on stage with huge bodyguards and numerous associates of the rappers. Llyod Banks gave an energetic performance, and made sure the crowd was into it. At one point he said put your hands up and called out someone who had his hands down. Banks went through a few of his songs and then brought on Tony Yayo, who had the audience jumping when he performed So Seductive and Pimpin. Lloyd Banks went on to do some songs then asked who is making money. Of course everyone raised their hands(if you broke you keep it to yourself), he then asked who needs some money. He then went to a bag with stacks of money(1s and 5s) and started throwing them it into the crowd while performing cake. I managed to wrestle away 17 dollars, Thanks G-unit, I can’t say you guys never did anything for me. Girls we’re getting viscous for the money and the towels and shirts being thrown in the crowd.(what’s new) Lloyd Banks took things to another level by then going into the crowd and performing, and to finish off the show he actually walked through the crowd. Lloyd Banks is a great performer and I would recommend any of his shows. I really didn’t know what to expect from him, I didn’ t know he was the type to give his all in a performance.

Overall this was a great show that i am glad I chose to attend. I noticed that rappers came very deep, to protect against the crowd, our backstage, who knows??? Busta made a comment about New York coming back, while Lloyd Banks went on to later say where did it go, check his record sales New York ain’t go anywhere. I guess Banks and 50 are over looked by some when speaking about New York Hip Hop. Anyone that atteneded the show wants to add to the review my email is realtalkny@gmail.com

Again Videos of the show are coming, I have a lot of footage to share so stay tuned, I just wanted to at least give you guys a run down of the show. Leave some comments on your thoughts on the show. I’ve seen reviews from the show different from mine, everyone has thier own opinon, you can look at the video to judge for yourself.

Cassie Petition: to have R&B Bad Boy Artist Cassie Dropped

After two horrid performances on Bet’s 106 and Park and on MTV’s TRL, people are realizing Cassie has little to no talent. In both performances she showed she had no ability to sing or even put on a good performance. Watching the performances was painful, if she was on the Apollo she would of been booed of the stage. It leads many to wonder how is it possible she has a record deal.

The Petition is entitled, “We Prefer Lassie Over Cassie!” It states that Cassie is, “Lumidee reincarnated”(LOL) and, “her existence and presence to the music industry is becoming very annoying and pointless.”(That’s Harsh) This petition holds no punches and even goes after Bad Boy’s CEO P.Diddy. While Cassie may not be able to sing, she isn’t the only person in the industry lacking vocal skills. There are plenty of singers that can’t sing and just look good. You can find the full petition Here.

Funny thing is Cassie stated, “People try to compare me to Ciara, but I’m nothing like her.” No kidding at least Ciara can dance. Link to that article Here

Below is Cassie’s infamous performances.

New NYC Fashion Trend???

No, these pictures aren’t from a Halloween party or some dress up day at a high school. This is what people are actually wearing on the streets of NYC. Is it a fashion trend or a complete joke??? I guess thats in the eye of the beholder. People want to stand out, and this type of attire will definitely make you stand out. Is it stupid, I’m not going to judge because others spend hundreds on a t-shirt just to get attention, so to each his own. Will I be hoping on this trend, not likely, but if rappers wore this attire the streets would be flooded with people dressed just like this.

Cassie with a Paris Hilton looking Video

Hmmm, rumors are spreading that Me and You is about giving knowledge, this video makes you think the rumors are true. Check the lyrics, “I know them other guys, they been talking bout the way I do what I do.” Peep this line, “Baby, I’ll love you all the way down.” I don’t know seems suspect, but if it is true, that may give some insight on how she got a record deal.

Jay-z Concert Review Part 2: Radio City Music Hall

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp
So one day I come home form work and hear Jay-z having a concert in two weeks, I laughed and said yea right. Thought it couldn’t have been true cause I would of heard of it at least a month in advance. Well turns out it was true, the morning it went on sale took me 45 minutes to get one ticket and getting two tickets was impossible. I managed some decent tickets, not what I’m use to but what can you expect with a high profile concert like this.

Well fast forward to the big night. The atmosphere was crazy, alot of big name Celebes walking around, When I first got in, I saw some noticeable people, Dj Clue and Dj Envy. Started looking around went to my seat and was not pleased so I had to figure out how I was going to get to the front. As a nice gesture eveyone that came to the concert got a special enlarged XXL magaizne about Reasonable Doubt, a poster and a Jay-z shirt(Got a pic of the stuff and extra posters). Luckily my sister managed to get seats in the front to the side. So what I did is take my sister ticket and let her walk by the usher, the usher didn’t even stop her. When I walked by the usher of course checked me. Worked perfectly, cause ushers weren’t playing they was checking hard.

Then came the next challenge, since I’m all the way in the front, that section gets extra attention and I have an usher like 2 feet from me eager for everyone to take their seat. So I’m nervous cause he was over active, and just sitting in the row in front of my sister and next thing you know people come for the seats I was in. Turns out it was Alicia Keys, three friends and a bodyguard that looked like he meant business. In my head I was like damn the gig is up. I quickly relocate to the row behind my sister right in front of the usher and just hope to get lucky. Somehow I manage to make it, and the usher later left for another guy that I didn’t have to worry about.

Where I was sitting Funk Master Flex was above me, AJ, yea AJ is still alive, was a few rows behind me and Alicia Keys was a few feet from me and so was her bodyguard, so I had to lay low with the pics and sneak some while she was leaving. So I’m enjoying the concert and I seem some tall dude come by to the front with a buzz around him, looks to the side and its Lebron James. As you can see from the video he was getting into the concert. After the concert was over Lebron James, Chris Paul and Richard Hamilton walked by as you can see in the video, then a few minutes later seen Young Jeezy taking pics and signing autographs. Other people in attendance that I didn’t get to see included Naomi Campbell, Carmelo Anthony, Jamal Crawford, Kelly Rowland, LaLa, Irv Gotti(got a shout out), and LA Reid. Where was Nas?

Now that I got the big names in attendance out of the way, the concert itself was crazy, the whole crowd was into it, Pain in the Ass was dressed up in a suit and came from a balcony doing his skit. Jay-z started the show by pulling up in a 96 Lexus looking Fresh to death(got a Pic if anyone wants to see it). The whole chorus and background was just amazing, a real classy event. Foxy brown came out, and I couldn’t understand most of what she was saying even though I know the lyrics, I guess she needs some work. Beyonce came out to do Mary’s part in Can’t Knock the Hustle, she put her on touch on the song cause she doesn’t sing like Mary, but damn she was looking good in that dress.

In conclusion this was a once in lifetime concert. I saw Jay-z perform at the garden in the concert after R Kelly left the Best of Both Worlds tour. It was a crazy concert, but it had alot of special guest and Jay-z didn’t do enough of his material. I doubt Jay-z will ever perform that album in its entirety ever again, plus not to mention the list of hits he did after he was done with the album. The concert brought everyone back to 96 and gave people a new found appreciation for the album that started the career of one of the most successful rappers ever.
